Since I side loaded Pie on my Verizon Note 9, will I ALWAYS need to side load updates? Or will ^^THIS^^ ATT or Sprint side load get me back into Verizon's OTA updates?

Once you sideload Att or sprint February
your golden, at that time everyone will be on pie then regular updates no more sideload.

I have it download but couldn't connect to it but didn't have enough time, I'll try tomorrow see if i can if not its only Verizon models . It kinda looks like smart switch lol

You are very misinformed....
The source of my information is T-Mobile's Note9 firmware-update page, which describes what's in CSB3:
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-38176

(In addition to their description of CSB3, you can tell that it's not just a security patch because the firmware version contains a U1 where there would instead be an S1 to designate a security-only update.)

You have not mentioned what, if anything, is the source of your own information.

You can go back to ARL1 through Odin, or wait for CSAA to CSB3 from Att and sprint that are on it . But will wipe phone if you go back to ARL1 but wont if you wait for sd card to csb3.. it's up to you.

How do you downgrade back to Oreo if you you side loaded pie on Verizon?

Looks like Sprint and Att are rolling out a CSAA to CSB3 update today. Maybe we can get a SD card loadable from that update.
