Do you think i have a bad egg?

I purchased my s6 edge on the day of release in the UK so probably one of the first batches and from day one my battery life has been terrible, my friend also did the same thing and his was so bad he has now sold it for an iphone because he had to keep bringing his charger to work!

I have seen posts of people getting 4-6 hours SOT but i literally get about 2 hours maximum screen on time of average use. Even after following all the step by step guides to try and improve the battery life it seemed to get slightly better but is now terrible again (maybe a placebo), I dont know what else to do... :-\

is it possible my device has a dud battery and do you think this is a reason for my to send it of for repair?

This is the only thing i have not tried because i have read that it does not help, is this incorrect?

Do the factory reset and you will be amazed at the battery life after this reset.

Each phone is different. Just because a reset didn't help one person don't mean it will not help you. All you can do is try it.
