Galaxy S8 - Won’t send text or takes a long time to send

AT&T, A couple weeks ago my S8 started having issues sending Text. Some text go through fine. Others spin and won’t send. try again and again, sometimes it sends. Sometimes it will not send at all.

Troubleshooting:
- Replaced SIM card
- Reset Network settings
- Factory reset phone

AT&T Support:
- I have called them 3 times, no success.
- Each time they tell me they are escalating the issue, but I never get a call back.

Yes, I am using the default android messaging app. I have used this on this phone for a couple years without issue.

I understand but wanted to see if this happening on 3rd party message app to see if its just stock problem or more into it .

Welcome to Android Central! It's also worth doing the Reset Network Settings option in the system settings.

I tried the Google Messenger instead of the stock app. It’s the same result.
To the same person, some go through and others don’t.
I’ll look at the APN link to see if that helps.

The APN change seems to have resolved the issue. This is frustrating as I have called AT&T three times with no success.

I appreciate your help with this!
