Lock Screen Question

Maybe I'm missing something but I tried to add a pin or a password or even a pattern to the lockscreen and its not working. My lockscreen is just an actual lock in a circle that you need to swipe out of the circle which is too easily unlocked. Can someone help with this issue? thanks.

That's weird. Did you install any third party app? I have a pattern on mine, and it works just fine.

no, just as the phone came out the box. and also there isnt an option like the galaxy nexus to put a camera icon in the unlock circle?

Just got my Note yesterday and had the same issue.

Settings>Location and security>Timeout>Change to Immediately
