Finally t-mobile has issued the 4.1.1 jelly bean update this morning. I have been missing this since i bought my S3 because I had it on my GNEX. I really missed Google Now. Thanks Sammy and Tmo. Everything is working great.

Thought the JB update was to add Photo Sphere in the camera app - Is that correct?

Updated to 4.1.1. Working well.

OH NOES! My life magically hasn't gotten way super better! That'll learn me to be antsy about updates.

Some new things:

A help app.
Google now. We'll see how good this is over time.
A Zynga games app. Oh, boy.
Calendar looks a little different, but not majorly.
Blocking mode, where you can block all sorts of things (found in settings).
Power off options look a little different, you can adjust sound level there now.
Don't know about keyboard changes, I use SwiftKey.
Does feel smoother overall.

Edit:
Noticed the alarm clock is easier to read (easier to tell what days it is set for).

From a later comment: option to leave screen on while charging

You long press to get Google now and you double tap the home button for svoice. I noticed if you have earbuds plugged in it will automatically go to Google now.

I have been trying since the morning on my S3 I got a couple weeks ago. Mine keeps saying device is up to date. Anyone experiencing this?

No update here... no ota and kies will not connect.... so f ing frustrated.

Love the update. There is one thing that is killing me. You know the multi-task window that comes up when you hold the home button? To close apps, well it feels like it takes half to a full second longer to open. Makes the phone feel really slow when it's not.

Still waiting for OTA. Tried to do it with Kies and it said there was an update but it was an update i already had thru T-Mobile a few weeks ago, not JB. Im ure ill get it soon.

Edit... Just updated it to JB. I was reading it wrong i guess. Alls good now.

Been wondering why we didnt get the 4.1.2 update? Was announced today that the Galaxy S2 is going to get that one...WTH!
