Am I the only one that's having issues with the sense widgets? Every so often when I unlock the phone I notice the people, friendstream and bookmark widgets are blank and have to reload like when you first turn your phone on. Its really annoying...

I have noticed it on the people widget and the clock/weather widget. Really random though and I can't reproduce the issue all the time.

Same here. 2.2 busted my connection. I talked with Sprint and they said the only thing I can do is wait for the next update.

What do you mean by "Connection?"

Read the thread from the beginning. Most problems are solved after a hard reset. You don't have to wait for an update.

I am also having the same widget issue, it started when i updated to 2.2 official froyo. Haven't found a fix unfortunately.

I've done 2 hard resets... After the first one most of the problems went away but crept back... The second hard reset the same result. It's actually worse than it was before any of the hard resets. Battery life sucks. Sense Widgets still randomly reloads. Serious lag, like HTC Hero type lag. Contacts are all messed up. Old videos still play back slow as hell (the 60HZ trick worked but doesn't anymore). I dunno man. I really hope there's a patch soon...

And no, I don't use a task killer..

Have not gotten my replacement yet just tried the hard reset and i am not going to download any apps except the swift keyboard one and see what happens.

Bluetooth Not Working

every since i updated to Froyo my bluetooth in my car doesn't work. when i turn bluetooth on, it connects to the handsfree but after a few seconds, it disconnects. When i try to manually connect to the handsfree, it doesn't work. One thing i've noticed is that if i'm on a call, and I manually turn on the bluetooth radio, it connects to the handsfree until i get off the phone, and then the handsfree disconnects and won't connect again until i turn the bluetooth radio on and off. anyone else experiencing anything like this? for reference, my handsfree system is an oem system in an audi a4. thanks.

Any suggestions for getting my Moto Droid unbricked. I received the OTA auto updater and I accepted it and my phone has been stuck on the "M" boot up screen for an hour now!

Google apps (google maps, google places, latitude, etc.) doesn't work even after a hard reset. It wants me to force close the app.

The following issues have been reported by less than 2 members. They will be moved to the first post if they are verified by additional members:

1. The "Car Home" app or widget is not there either.

The app was renamed, not removed. App is called "Car Panel". I'm not sure what good a widget would do...was there really a widget before? Probably removed because it'd be kinda useless.

Note: the Settings section for the Car Panel was also renamed to "Dock".

Sirius XM app

The sirius xm app continuously loops a segment of about 30 seconds of radio after the froyo update. I've noticed a lot of people are having this same issue. Is there any fix out there?

Something I hate from froyo since I updated. The I always get the "video cannot be played"message after a short while when using the youtube app or full screen video. I can never finish a video....so frustrating. I have hard reset 3 times already. Any suggestions?

I am having tons of bluetooth issues after Froyo 2.2. It was very solid with 2.1, but I can't instantly connect with any of my bluetooth devices without turning on and off several times or going into settings and manually connecting and disconnecting a device. This is ridiculous! Why did HTC release this ROM with so many problems? If they don't fix the bluetooth issues soon I will have to reactivate my Palm Pre and I definitely don't want to have to do that!

Would you rather htc had never givin you the option to update? You can always go back to 2.1. I'm frustrated with the bt issues myself, but I would never go to a palm pre!

Mine works fine with all my bluetooth. I did a hard reset after the update.

Froyo killed my video camera.

I'll start by saying that the video camera worked great with 2.1, I've already tried two factory resets, I do not have a task killer installed, and I do not have any led light app installed.

Ever since Froyo, not only is the 720p video playback very choppy, but I cannot record anything at all. Once in the video camera, if I press record, nothing happens at all. It does not start recording and the video camera controls freeze up only allowing me to press the home button (back does nothing) to get out. Once out of the video camera screen, everything starts running extremely laggy and the phone basically becomes unusable till I power cycle it.

This is extremely disappointing especially being that this is already my second Evo (first one had a ton of dust behind the screen after one week). Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you.
