I used a Dremel for my VZW Holster/Case combo... But others were able to do it with just scissors...

I also plugged in the charger again, without powering off the phone, and let it charge for another 15 mins or so until it turned green... Now at 100%.

CRKhead, i just went through the same thing. I charged it last night with the phone off... unplugged it and within 10 minutes i was down to 95% this morning.

Charging now via USB at my desk.

I've noticed this issue only when charging with the power on, such as at night when I leave it on in case someone needs me (very rare) and more importantly, for my alarm clock to wake me up so I can earn my daily bread (to of course prolong my gadget obsession).

That said, each time that I have gotten to work, powered the phone down, then plugged it in until the indicator turns green, I stay at 100% for about 1.5hours with heavy usage...not too shabby!!

Pain in the arse though, you'd think a simple thing like charging would take care of itself properly.

Yeah I totally agree... weird that it did it when I charged with the phone off. My green light is back on, took maybe 5 minutes via my computer usb charger. Lets try this again.

Some results from a full charge. Yesterday, I started with a full charge at 7:00 AM. I used it heavily yesterday, I mean heavy. My battery just died at 9:30 AM today. That is not bad my friends. So yes, I am very pleased with my results.

You know, it has me thinking. When the phone stops charging (once it reaches 100%), maybe the battery starts getting used with all the synching during that period and that's why it needs to get unplugged then plugged back in to "top it off", esentially forcing the phone to start the charging process again. This makes sense as people who turn their phones off to charge do not run across this problem. I would think that the phone would monitor the voltage level of the battery while it's plugged in and kick off the charging status again once it starts to dip OR just simply keep using the plugged in power for all of it's tasks.

Just a thought.

OK here are my stats for the time being. On my stock battery I would be about 30% right now. My 2150mah stats are as follows:

Uptime: 4 hours 10 minutes
Awake time: 1:06 minutes
Battery remaining: 75%
My signal strength: Its horrible, im at -90dBm (work at a power plant, interference from the generator and thick walls make signals bad)
Emails: 19
Texts: 22
Phone Calls: 1 for 8 minutes
Internet: About 30 minutes, includes twitter and facebook browsing.
Weather: Updates every hour
Facebook Widget: Refreshes every hour
Tweetcaster: Refresh interval every 3 minutes
GPS: On
Data: Always on
WIFI: Off
Bluetooth: Off
Screen Brightness: Auto
Screen Timeout: After 2 minutes

I think thats all my settings. Just wanted to give you guys some stats.

First full day with this bad not and I love it. I'm a power hog WiFi and BT on @ 530am now 1634 and have 53%. Wow and it feels great..

Same here heavy user all day. Been off the charger since 7am and still have 70% left. With the stock battery my phone would be dead by now.

I think this battery is twice as good as my 1750 and I only charged it once.

Considering the bad reception issue that's not bad. Your battery "if" you stayed there would last about 12 hours. Once you get outside of there it should see marked improvement. Hummm....

Update:

After 3 full recharge cycles, I'be managed to go 13 hours and still retain over 60% battery capacity. I'm definitely impressed and will be keeping the battery.

Do not let the way it looks fool you, the capacity increase is well worth it.

I've had mine off the charger since 6:55 am and as of 10:23 I am still sitting at 48%. I spent 5 hours streaming Sirius via bluetooth and then did my usual net surfing, talking and texting. Needless to say, I'm quite happy with this investment.
I definitely feel that this phone was worth every penny and I'm glad I don't have to stress out about not being near a charger of some sort.

Here's a fun fact. I charged my 2150 today. After the green light came on I unplugged. At 100%. 2 hours since unplugged and still at 100%.

Where's the drop 10% in the first 20 minutes bug? It isn't there..........

My biggest headache is no accessories work with it. So yeah I would get great battery life but no case made for it, no desktop or car cradle for it etc. I'm still on the fence about it, going to wait till I can get a saturation of opinions on this things before I bite and try it out. Right now responses have me leaning towards that way anyways because of the 25-30 hours of battery life. Holy crap!

The generic leather swivel pouch holds the Inc with the extended batt perfectly. I ordered it by mistake when I got my Inc and was going to return it, but never had a chance to. Now its perfect. By the way, after two full charges, it already lasts twice as long as the original crap battery

My battery is just flat out kicking some serious butt with it's life span. I am using it heavily and the battery is solid! It was said earlier that it's a welcome relief not having to worry about being around a charger and I will second that once more.

I am still loving the look and feel of the phone. Best accessory investment I have made so far.

I'm at 20 hours off the charger and I'm at 53% remaining. This battery truly kicks ass! I have wifi, gps, 3G, a bunch of widgets, lots of texts, phone calls, and emails. My old battery was done in like 5 hours. I bet I could get a day 1/2 to 2 days out of this battery!

Some problem as stock battery door. Still flex pops on side. God do I hate cheap plastic backs. I am having trouble adjusting to the hump on the back
