Phoenix (505): You can use Raenye's combined kernel. You can use any .35/NBB based ROM. Everything works.
The P505 stock kernel works on P506 too. Hopefully, Drew's kernel will supersede all of these![]()
I tested on thrive and got 3G voice & wifi working.savior1974 tried it on his Thrive (506) and said that he couldnt get data or wifi.
Can we confirm this?
My happiness meter went from [--] to [-----------------------------]Good news for you turkeys:
I'm about to upload the stock LG P505 (Phoenix) source to my BitBucket.org repository and begin the patching process.
UPDATE: The official repository for the LGP505 (Phoenix) kernel source + my modifications is on BitBucket.org. If you can't see any files, it's because it's not finished uploading yet. I will be working for about an hour and a half tonight patching the kernel, and you all will be able to track what I'm doing using the aforementioned BitBucket repository link.

So if we flash this, it will function the same as Jobans? We can flash any rom we want and then just toss the kernel in and everything will work squeaky-clean?
Sure, hopefully. Also, I broke the build completely so I now need to start over from scratch.
Clarification: you'll be able to flash ROMs for the P500, but some may need more than just a kernel.
