Please keep it civil people.
I am inclined to agree. I will be keeping an eye on this thread.

How were you able to decrypt and turn encryption off? I've heard that really speeds things up! Please tell me how to turn off encryption...
I understood the att does not have bloat. Locked, stupid logo...yes but no carrier apps.
I have the unlocked Motorola version w an att sim and no bloat downloaded on set up.
Even my att store demo had no bloat and the sales rep who is into android like we are in this forum confirmed no carrier stuff is downloading.
If anyone does see some carrier apps on a store demo unit it is because that particular store has decided to do that for customer presentation.

I have the unlocked from google play and on ATT. After I set it up, I had the my ATT app and another ATT app for a total of two on my N6. I was able to delete them though.

So, who actually controls the update? I bought my phone from T-Mobile, I have an AT&T SIM.
Where will my update come from?
I want to sideload this 5.0.1 OTA. I am using a Mac. When my phone is on adb detects my phone no problem. When my phone is in recovery mode adb doesn't detect my phone. Any reason why and any suggestions to fix this? I think this is the reason why I am unable to sideload this OTA.
You may have to just unplug replug the phone into the comp. That happened with mine, but on Windows 7 and it immediately started after I did that.

Still doesn't work. Any other suggestions? I am using the USB cable that came with the phone.
