I've got an HTC Inspire (AT&T) also. The beta runs great and says it installs. But for the life of me, I can't find them on the phone. Anyone have a clue what I'm missing?

I have the HTC Inspire on ATT too... installed the beta as instructed. I used it to install the .apk Amazon store thing....then once that was installed I went to it on my phone (it was there). So it worked no problems so the I went to download Angry Birds Rio and it downloaded but when it tried to install I got that infamous error message. So what I did after this (thanks to the guy who said to do this) I navigate to my HTC Inspire went to the android folder. Went to the folder that has amazon in its name, then in the cache folder there is a .apk file with a whole bunch of numbers. THIS IS THE GAME. So..I copied this file to my computer. Then used the SWM beta thing to install this file. It worked so I disconnected my phone went to my Applications and bam! Angry Birds Rio was there fully functional!!!
(I did it like this to get Fruit Ninja as well)

Hello all, I just registered for the sideload application and I wanna thank the creator of it! But I have an important question now that I've followed nearly all of the steps. Where exactly do most of you get the apps to be downloaded on your PC? And are they free?

i have a motorola flip and im trying to sideload an app and it is telling me install_failed_older_sdk during the install...... what does this mean?

solution found, same as with many others...make sure the SWM is directly on the C drive.
means that you are trying to use an old application not compatible with the current OS

See post 16, or the first post. You have the AC_SWM folder in the wrong spot. Open the zip file you downloaded, and drag the whole AC_SWM folder into your C: drive, and not nested inside another folder.

This usually happens when the folders were not placed in the correct place, please review Post #16
To make sure you placed the folder in the proper place.
The above applys here aswell please review your placement of your folders as instructed in post # 16.
If the problem persists, attempt to put the .apk's directly in the wondermachine folder instead of the payload folder although this shouldnt be the case try it anyway
