Android 2.3 Gingerbread EI22 latest build WITH IMAGE

Re: Android 2.3 Gingerbread EH11 latest build

FC=Force Close/Forced Closing

Its a prompt you see even on stock OS when something fails.

On that glossary of terms...

Android Central's Android Dictionary

BTW, I looked it up and FC is listed in there... :)

Yes, its the free version of Quadrant Standard and it locks up at 10/12 of CPU at Video Decoding - H.264. Deleted, re-installed but no luck. NO, haven't had a FC so I guess its running fine.

Re: Android 2.3 Gingerbread EH11 latest build

I wouldn't worry about it then Ted. Like I said your not going to see a big improvement yet since your only stock/rooted with some bloatware removed. Besides benchmarks can vary so much on your own device, you can take it 3 times in a row and get three different readings...

Re: Android 2.3 Gingerbread EH11 latest build

Update:

Samfirmware.com is saying in the next 24hrs (earlier today) they will release the next leak for the Epic 4g. According to rumors they are probably going to release EH06 because they are having trouble locating EH11. Why? EH11 could be the final build and Samsung is hiding it from Samfirmware.com because they know they will leak it... (this is one theory).

Anyways, sometime tonight into tomorrow we should have a new GB leak to play with ;)

Perfect timing as my phone with EG22 has started to lag a bit as well as spontaneously reboot once in a while.

will it be ready to flash using odin or will i have to wait a while to get my hands on it

In case any of you haven't heard yet... This was tweeted from Samfirmware.com who has given us the last few leaks of Gingerbread for the Epic 4g.

Also rumor circulating around XDA from the best Sprint sources over there is EH05 is the final build and they have the remaining issues hammered out.. August 22nd (around this date) for a official release date is looking more promising...

Sorry but eh11 is the latest.. I am betting a september or october or no release at all...

Thanks for commenting on this but you must not have continued reading newer posts because I and everyone since then has realized EH05 wasn't the final build as we originally thought. ;)

Re: Android 2.3 Gingerbread EH13 latest build

LOL... Yet another build is out.. EH13... One day Sammy will get it right.

I have to ask... what ISN'T working right, right now?
EE, EF builds had faulty modem.
EG22 Everything (except maybe Bluetooth, I don't use it) worked solid, was responsive.
EH06 so far is spot on solid and responsive. Is there still debug code in eh06?
Think Samsung is a little paranoid about a bad release after the Froyo issues?

Re: Android 2.3 Gingerbread EH13 latest build

Last I read, not sure if its all true but it appears that most if not all debugging code has been removed from EH06. Some are saying this is final, but then why is there EF11 and now EH13? There has been debate that just because there are new rdf's builds showing that doesn't necessarily mean there is a completely new build.

I guess were just gonna have to sit back and ride it out... Can't wait until I get a working Epic to check out the latest leak here myself and see what all the buzz is about. :)

Re: Android 2.3 Gingerbread EH13 latest build

i'm glad they didn't push it out like the Echo where it bricked the phone, but getting a bit antsy with all these builds. i'm thinking their developers/testers are struggling with the details because the Epic is slightly different (better) than other Galaxy S phones (slider and ffc, etc.) :p

Re: Android 2.3 Gingerbread EH13 latest build

Has anyone else had issues with the stock browser. Everytime I push the "back" button it goes to the home screen and if I happen to simply push home and then decide to go back to the browser, the browser will load from the front page and not the page I was on when I left.

Could someone help with this possibly?

Confirmed. Each link you click on will open a new window, but if you hit back, it closes EVERYTHING. I guess now we know what the next build if going to fix :-/

Does GB eliminate that annoying pop-up screen that notifies you that the battery is fully charged? Or at least give you the option to eliminate it or darken it? Pretty disturbing @ 3 or 4 am (plus the tones!)

Full battery pop up? No its still there but on most custom ROMs it has been disabled/removed.
