The New Droid-X...follow the Red Eye!
First off, the D-X is kind of like the Droid but on steroids, which makes it a damn-tastic phone to have. HTC from my and other users experience produces good phones and the D-X is yet another example. The screen size alone is enough to make anyone take notice at a very healthy 4.3 inches.
Secondly, the Gorilla Glass is an important feature as it keeps the screen practically scratch free, and is key to ensuring the graphics viewing clean as possible. Having a clear screen comes in really handy as the 8mp camera with dual LED flash takes some great pictures and 720p video.
Thirdly, the D-X keeps things chugging along with a speedy processor to make sure apps, video, and just about anything else you could think of running like Usain Bolt.
Motorola has evidently designed the D-X in terms of a hit sequel. Think Batman Begins, then The Dark Knight. Is it my imagination or does the D-X play subtle homage to the X-Men with the X on the home screen off center? Or does the X stand for X-cellent? Sorry had to throw that in!
This pairing of quality service, with quality smarthpones certainly has the earmarks for a winning combination...and it doesn't even need duct tape to work...or suffer from phantom signal strength...or.....

Three numbers: 4.3, as in inches; 1, as in GHz, and X, as in Roman numeral ten (okay, a stretch...).
I can't wait. The power, in my hand. I can realize my dreams. Replace my broken Eris. HDMI Out my way to the top.
My boyfriend has an older version of the Droid and it's pretty amazing, so this new one will be even better!

Why is the Droid X the hottest phone of the year? Well lets look at the facts shall we. 1- Its on Verizon's super fast super RELIABLE network, plus the phone is ridiculously fast. 2- Amazing UI on top of Android 2.1 (soon 2.2). 3-Its a Multi-Media Machine. 4- Ginormous 4.3" screen, and lets face it, its the closest some of us will get to having that big screen TV
oh and for those who do HDMI out baby. Truth is I could go on and on but the real reason its the best is...its got that X-factor (sorry had to do it)

I was actually allowed to play with one while swapping my Droid for a replacement due to the headphone Jack wearing out and I fell in love as soon as it hit my hand. The screen is beautiful but not too big its uncomfortable. The processor is rediculous. I love the Widgets and how they're customizable. The keyboard is a heaven sent to my fat fingers not to mention the multi touch. Its supper thin and light weight and the camera is crystal clear. The short of it, beautiful and I wish I wasn't broke lol.
P.S. Forgot to mention the rediculous 16gig internal storage and the 16gig memory card! Guess that's what I get for doing this on the fly while opperating a scale at the chicken plant I work at lol. Sorry to KFC for the weights being off and sorry to my boss but if I win the write up was worth it lol!

Because the phone is the first of the year with all the best features of other phones: the processor of the incredible, the size of the evo, the backing of motorola, and the lack of i-fruityness of android.
