No you should be fine.Guys do we need to install antivirus on the pixel?
They just seem like a company behind on times
...except they make their phones come with the latest hardware specs that are on every other flagship phone except for the Pixel.
Amoled is ok and lots of people swear by them but there's nothing wrong with LCD either.Yeah.. Like that LCD screen...![]()
They have some specs like processor and GPU and finally caught up on RAM but specs do not a great phone make. They are behind on features, not specs. Try adding wireless charging, sharing photos via NFC, letting people move icons wherever they want, maybe let people see some of the file system and make changes there. Idk what it is that Apple needs to do specifically but they need help with their innovation....except they make their phones come with the latest hardware specs that are on every other flagship phone except for the Pixel.

No one is denying that they make great hardware. Or even that they make a great phone, as a whole. And their cameras are top notch. But the OS and software needs some tweaking. I hate that I can't put an icon where I want. I hate that I can't set a default app that isn't an Apple app. I hate that I can't set a separate alarm volume that's different from my notification volume. I hate that if I'm using the phone and I get a phone call, I have to completely stop what I'm doing and wait for the call to end or reject the call altogether. I hate that if I'm away from my phone for awhile, when I come back to it, my notifications are a giant cluster eff. I hate that I can't have a weather widget right on my lock screen or in the notification bar.
These things just make no sense to me. For being "the most advanced mobile OS on earth" these things are stuck in the phone stone age.
I like my iPhone, and for a lot of people it's awesome, but it definitely isn't the only option, or even the best option for a lot of people.
I'm tired of switching. I'm going to sell my Pixel XL and Daydream.
The whole thing about not working with BT in my car drives me nuts with the Pixel.
There's a pretty extensive thread about this. It works fine for music but not for making calls
I have both an iPhone 7 and a Google Pixel. While I like the iPhone 7 I just can't use it full time. My biggest issue is IOS's 10 notification system. It's just awful. Secondly if I want to change a setting option in let's say Facebook, why do I need to exit the app look for the settings icon on my home screen, then go in settings to look for my Facebook settings. That's way too many steps just to change damn settings on an app. Why can't I just change the settings in the app I'm using. Thirdly why does making a custom ring tone seem so hard. Like seriously if there is a song I wanna use as a ring tone why do I need to get on a computer and hook my phone up to that awful iTunes just to set a ringtone. Lastly I thought IOS was the OS that just ran. Why is it I've had more app crashes on IOS 10 that I have had on my Pixel. On the plus side though I love iMessage which is probably why I can't completely abandon my iPhone. Also a lot of apps are just a little more polished on IOS. That has to do with the developer though I guess. At the end of the day though the Pixel is still my number 1 phone.
Same experience here with my iPhone 6s. I just can't stick with the iPhone. I also like iMessage and FaceTime. FaceTime is the hard one for me to replace. My 3 year old grand daughter uses that to call me. I have to have a good alternative to FaceTime.
I have had no app crashes on my Pixel and since the update to iOS 10 on my iPhone, it seems that I have to click icons twice to get anything to work. Wasn't like that before iOS 10. As you said though, there are some apps that are more fluid on iOS than Android.
I still use my Pixel 90% of the time. Haven't been able to get myself to completely let go of my iPhone though. I really wanna see how the test of time is on the Pixel. I hope it keeps working as it does now in 6 months.
I've been on a 6s Plus for awhile but I'm about 99.9% on the train back to Android. iMessage and FaceTime are two of the things I'm worried about, but I actually prefer Duo to FaceTime, so that's always an option. Facebook messenger also has the same ability, plus you can send full resolution videos through it, so that can replace the iMessage video sharing functionality. There are ways to get around using iOS. Apple makes it difficult, but not IMPOSSIBLE!
I'll have to check out Duo. Thanks for the heads up. As for Facebook, I've never had a Facebook page. Just never got into it. My wife has one though.
I've gone back and forth with iOS and Android for a while. That's part of the reason I just won't sell my iPhone. IOS always seemed to be just a little smoother even though it is more locked down than Android. The Pixel is the first Android phone that has made me stay off iOS for any length of time. I liked my S7E but this Pixel is just next level to me. I'm really enjoying it and it does all I ask it to do. If I could just get it to take out the trash, it'd be perfect.
