Anyone coming from iPhone 7 or Plus?

To move from iPhone from Android is kinda tricky for a music lover like me.
I always got a bunch of music in iTunes which I pay every month...I know other music apps might also be great, but I still want my downloads come with me...
so I find a way out to save apple music in my local folder (with the help of a third-party software - Apple Music Converter). I convert iTunes music to MP3, then I can copy them to my new Android phone.

If you download Google music and it will automatically add your iTunes purchases to your Google music library

You are putting in way too much effort there my friend. Just download iSyncr for iTunes on your phone and computer and you can sync your iTunes library wirelessly or wired. Songs, playlists, play count - everything. Works like a charm for everything but protected music. Those won't transfer, but iTunes hasn't been selling protected AAC files for a couple years now. And for those you can just download Apple Music for Android and stream.

Been playing with a Pixel XL for a few days and like it very much. Not sure it's going to replace my iPhone 7+ though.

-- For starters, it only has 32 GB - the 7+ has 256 - and I'm a hoarder, so not sure I can change my stripes.
-- I disagree with the notion that the Pixel camera is better than the iPhone's, especially the lack of the optical zoom and no OIS. (Why the hell did they make the same mistake with OIS as they did with the previous Nexus?) The Pixel's does handle blue skies better, however. Easily. But there's very little noticeable difference otherwise.
-- I do think the Pixel operates faster than the 7+, which surprised me. It's really speedy, except for scrolling through web pages - iPhone still wins big there. I'm not a gamer, so can't compare that experience.
-- The big problem for me though is Bluetooth. It's a rock-solid experience on the 7+, it's been a hair-pulling, obscenity-forming experience on the XL. In the house and in the car. Was hoping the recent update would help solve, but nope.
-- Battery life is very similar between the two.
-- It was very courageous for Google to bring a headphone jack to the pixel. ;) (Thank you Google.)
-- This may seem like a very minor issue, but I LOVE the Apple Leather Case for iPhone. Love. It. I despise plastic and TPU cases. How hard can it be for somebody to replicate the Apple Leather Case for a Pixel XL? (Or regular Pixel.) Obvious not an EXACT replica, but close enough? Maybe somebody has, but I haven't found it. Feel free to link to me one if it exists.

I still have a few more days before the return period is up. I'm thinking the Pixel 2 will be a tremendous hardware upgrade from the first version and might just wait for it, but for a first generation phone, they did a pretty damn good job. Just fix the bluetooth and for God's sake OIS next time.

Glad you gave it a try ! :). How come you didn't snag the 128 GB version for storage?

What have your problems been? I'm about to switch to the Pixel Jr. I need BT to work in my car.

Won't connect reliably. Drops for no particular reason - for both calls and music. Never a problem with my iPhone. I've since found many threads about the Pixel & Bluetooth issues.

Yeah. That's what I've seen too. Just didn't know if you had a different experience. It's important to me, too, but I'm so tired of Apple and the same thing year after year.

It has to be something that can be fixed by a software update, I assume.

I switched from the 6 plus to strictly android because my 6 plus was 1 day out of manufacturer warranty and broke because of this I swore never to buy another iphone after that day. And I haven't I just got an LG stylo 2 V from verizon been half a month now and no problems. My aunt was the reason behind me getting the LG Stylo she has one and has had hers almost two years now and it has given her little to no problem.

I believe wholeheartedly that when it comes to phones the durability and longevity is hands down android the only thing I have broken so far on my phone is the stylus and that's because I was being a dumbass and bending it when I was bored but on that note I wonder why the plus doesn't come with a stylus because it is a phablet technically so it should have a stylus

Musings from someone but to answer your question great choice on choosing the pixel it's a nice phone mine comes with a 2TB Expandable SD Card memory don't know if pixel comes with an SD card expansion but it should be well developed and very quick I always thought android was easier to use because of the interface I hated the iphone because of the limitations of the app store too the iphone 7 doesn't even come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
