Anyone else's Nexus 5X battery life suck?

Same here.. battery kinda sucks. The mobiles fast enough but the battery losses a problem. I did try factory reset and then when no apps were installed the battery was the best at the time. But when I installed a couple of Internet based apps such as whatsapp, line, tango, Skype etc. It started to drain fast. Even when it's at sleep it drains atleast 2% an hour. Any help for this? Or is it just common for the 5x users?

Unfortunately this is the nature of Android. I keep trying to come back but until they can fix the overheating and battery drain while watching videos and playing games I'm going to stick with apple

I suppose I'd have the same problem if I watched videos and played games. I don't so my Nexus 5x lasts me a couple of days, sometimes three. I just send text messages, check the exchange rate, use my calculator, look up words in my dictionary, sometimes read on my Kindle app if I get stranded without my Kindle, use Google maps, and so forth. But, no games and no videos and no streaming music.

I also have a power pack in my little day pack that goes with me when I leave home so if my Kindle or my phone run dry I can recharge.

So, there is nothing nearly drastic enough to make me do business with Apple.

I resisted as long as I could. My last Android was a moto x and it died after 2 hours of watching a movie and playing candy crush waiting for a flight. I was excited for the moto x 2014 but the hardly even increased the battery size. I know what you're saying but when you can use your phone for 5 hours with the screen on the whole time and only use 50% of your battery, Android needs to step it up.
