also any speculation in trade in values for our S20 Ultras?

Will samsung offer those of us who paid 1400 for the s20 ultra a sweet upgrade deal? I'm hesitant to spend an extra 500 or 600 bucks for a phone that likely will be identical to my s20 ultra but then again I want a new toy!

I'm keeping the 16GB/512GB S20 Ultra because it's too new and simply too powerful to part with. It only lacks an S-Pen to be the perfect phone. I'll trade my Note10 Plus. I have carried two phones since 2012. Initially, I wanted as much portable storage with me as possible and the two-phone thing became a habit.

And I can say no, but the answer is really hell yes lol. Will be keeping my Utlra and trading in my note 10+.

Unfortunately, you'll take a big hit. Im trading in my Note 10 and keeping the S20 Ultra

Here's the thing I'm grappling with.......is it really that much of an upgrade from the s20ultra!?!?

I dont think its going to be. Not this year. They'll improve the camera and then spen which I don't use. The quad HD plus 120 doesn't interest me unless they can fix the battery drain while using 120. If they give me 800 in trade I might go for it but I'm not expecting them to. That said they are gonna have to offer some pretty big incentives to move a 1400 phone in this economic environment.

The screen is supposed to be more efficient.

I have a S20 Ultra and will probably bite the bullit and get the Note 20 Ultra when it comes out. I do miss the S Pen, plus I am intrigued by the LTPO technology in the new screen.

S21 yes

LTPO is a different panel

No. The rumors specifically stated S20. LTPO isn't required for variable refresh rate, it just offsets power usage. On a device like the S20 that already has a high refresh rate screen, it won't make any difference to power usage.
