Anyone have any suggestions how I can get my hands on an Evo?

Don't give up Art should be able to come through he had mentioned today would be a busy day for him. Just give him a little time and he should respond.
 
Turns out Art is taking the day off. He called me back and said that he could order me an EVO tomorrow. He says all the business that he is getting from this forum is great. "Keep it coming."
 
I was wondering why he didn't respond to my email today.... lol... yeaaa patience is NOT my strong point!

Im still waiting on mine too< but i actually called Sprint and got my order number (which means the order was placed) when I enter the order number in Sprint | Check Your Order Status
it says my order is "processing". In his email he did say to allow 2-5 business days to process so its all just be patient i suppose. LOL again... i must say patience is a *****
 
Oo nice I just got mine. My order is processing also. I hope it hurries up because its hard for me to be patient also lol

Have not received tracking info yet. Unable to get hold of Art so i went to local sprint store. They found my order and told me estemaited delivary date is tomorrow (friday). Im hoping. I now have my order number to so i watching. You guys who have ordered can call sprint and get the order number from them.
 
Just to let everyone know, my Sprint store that I work for is suppose to receive two big shipments next week, each with about 25-30 Evos and I believe every Sprint store is going to be the same.
 
LOL maybe we gave Art too much business.... Have you seen how many views are on this thread!

Art has been grateful for all of the business you have given him. I'm glad I was able to help out for those who couldn't find your Evo's locally. Like I previously said, this is not a scam. Too bad the Sprint Rewards Referral Program ended. I would've make a killing... :D Anyways, Art is still looking for new business so make sure to refer those in need of any Sprint Phone to give him a call. And for those in the DFW area, he will throw in a new case and leather charger for your new phone and he will deliver it personally.

BTW, its Art's Birthday this Saturday so don't forget to wish him a Happy Birthday!

Noobie alert

I have been following this post for a few days now. I had no luck finding an Evo anywhere so I called Art. He placed the order for me this morning, but I haven't got any confirmation email or anything yet. But he did tell me I should have my phone no later then next Thursday. He seemed legit, and other people seemed to have success with him.

If you are really anxious and costs is not an issue, tell Art to use Next Day Delivery once its ready for shipment. That's what I did. If you're upgrading, then the Next Day shipping fees will be charged to your next Sprint Invoice. For those who want the Samsung Epic 4G, place an order with Art now and you can get it once its available for sale by Sprint instead of looking around for it.

If you just placed the order this afternoon, you should see the order number by tomorrow the earliest.

Anyway so after seeing Ramitdn's post I called sprint order support (1-866-514-0109) and they informed me my estimated hardware arrival date is TOMORROW! Although the website does not have a tracking number listed, I feel pretty confident that I will get it tomorrow or Monday at the latest. (Sometimes companies don't actually update the tracking info until the item actually is on the truck in transit... depending on the carrier)

For any of you who are waiting on order numbers just wait one day from the date you placed the order, and you can call up sprint and they will give it to you if Art didn't already. E-Z Peezee from there:)

Yah I know what you mean, Ive been trying to buy this phone for over a month now. I was gonna wait for the Epic but the $250 price sure made me think twice. Hopefully this thing with Art turns out good and I like the phone so I can finally stop obsessing over cell phones.

OMG i totally know what you mean. I have had the Innocell 350MAH extended battery, and invisible shield screen protector sitting in my condo for the last WEEK! I just wanna HAVE THE PHONE enjoy my transition to android, and throw my blackberry in the hudson river! lol

Donna i know what u mean went to Best Buy yesterday. Bought screen protector and car charger for the Evo. Dont have phone yet but have accessories. I also switching from BB (curve 8350i). So ready for Android.
