can Art get me an EVO? I am a NEW sprint customer. Bought a blackberry yesterday for new contract price. Can I get an EVO through him and then return the blackberry?
Anyone have any suggestions how I can get my hands on an Evo?

Still no tracking number on the website, but even if it came on Monday i wouldn't be THAT upset because its being shipped to my HOME address which Im never at. I pretty much live with my sig other and I'd have to cross the Tappan Zee Bridge (suburbs of NYC) to go to my "technical home" which is the road to HELL ON EARTH on a Friday afternoon. ha ha ha seriously tho, traffic would be worth not having to stress over an effin phone anymore! hahaha

DWD, Art has been coming thru for a bunch of us on this forum... ramitdn and I are both pending recieval of our new evo's either tomorrow or monday...I'm sure both of us will post our recievals as soon as have them in our hands
right, but were you guys new customers who just bought another phone and within 30 days wanted to exchange?

Argggggg..... no tracking number as of this morning, called order support and they said 5-7 business days blah blah blah... looks like i won't be getting my EVO today

Prepare yourself to wait the fulll 7 from the order date. I'm still waiting on my tracking number even though Sprint told me YESTERDAY the order would be arriving today, this am they said I had to wait the full 7.... I'm just gonna call again later lol.

Sprints been out for months here, Best Buy gives us the run around. I walked into a walmart and to my surprise, they had one(multiple...but I needed one). Was the same $199.99(no need for MIR). Got it up and running for me in about 10-15 minutes.

I also ordered one from Art around noon on Aug. 10. No order number, and no tracking number. Had to get my order number from Sprint. I dont think the phones have shipped yet. Atleast the order is in, but would have been nice to get an email.

As for everyone else, yes i agree it would havebeen nice to have gotten at least an email from Art with the order number, and from what i understand from the woman @ order support, is that its very unusual that we were able to EVEN GET OUR ORDERS IN. Sprint it not taking individual orders whatsoever for this phone. For that I will give Art credit, and we WILL be getting our phones, and thats great... but yeah his communication has kinda sucked.

He promised he'd contact me when he received an actual Tracking number. So thats why I'm not really worried about him having to contact me prior to that. )Yes just call sprint and give them your pin and name, and say you placed your order through a business chanel representative but it is a personal line, and are calling to find out your order number as you have not been provided one. Try Order support @ 1866- 514-0109 they should be able to help.

here in SC most all of the stores are sold out and when i get a call saying they have one and i go to get it boom its gone *sad face* but ill find one and craigslist isnt much of help ive seen a few over $550 + and one for $800. *jaw drops* a sprint dude said in a few weeks they should have some more and then i can join the android club XD
