Anyone thinkin about getting the iPhone 6 ????

I wouldn't say Android copied iOS 8 this time. For one, all major OSes have drawn from each other. Each and every one of them. It hasn't ever been just a blanket copy from any of them, but rather specific points pulled from all of them. And second, I find it VERY hard to believe that Android L, which was showcased only three weeks after iOS 8, copied much of anything from it. Unless Google had invented a time machine and was able to see iOS 8 ahead of its release by about a year. They did implement a similar notification system for the lock screen. But other than that, I see very little, if any glaring similarities.

How about continuity and Carplay?

Continuity started with KitKat, just better and more smoothly implemented in L. Carplay? They've been working on that one for awhile too. Everyone knows that that is going to be one of the next smart connected services. I find it very hard to believe that they just came up with that since June 2. I just don't see how Google could have copied something that was only released three weeks prior to their very own scheduled release.

I like both, too. You know this. Like I said above, they all copy each other - not one OS is innocent. And at this point, at least Android and iOS have become symbiotic in that they feed off of each other and need each other to continually push forward.

I guess since the first major OS-driven smartwatch had Android on it - and now Android Wear has been released to the masses - by your argument, Apple will be directly copying Android when they release their smartwatch later this year, even if they have been working on it for awhile.

Apple will definitely be copying Android on the smart watch, according to a lot of Android fans. That is my point, that it goes both ways.

Take a look at Microsoft now that they own Nokia. I don't think you'll hate the build quality of a Surface or a Lumia.

Funny that you say that. I saw a Surface 3 Pro at Best Buy yesterday and I must say, it looked stunning. The Nokia smartphones are ok, but I really like Microsoft tablets.

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a surface phone though I feel it'd look very Blackberry even if they did opt to take it in that direction.

I used to love BlackBerry smartphones. The Bold 9000 was one of my favorite devices. I loved that keyboard. I know I'm off topic, but your comment made me reminisce.

I used to have a Bold 9000 too...I remember when it first came out and I excitedly got mine! I actually was going through some old pictures earlier and found some I'd taken when I first got my Bold. Amazing how much phone cameras have improved over the last 5 years! At the time that phone felt so advanced!

I like Android and iPhone honestly. I really don't compare the two anymore as I enjoy them both for different reasons.

I need to see the iPhone 6 though as I really didn't like 5s. It wasn't comfortable for me in weight and looks. Ended up with a 5c that I'm very happy with.

I still like my Note 3 as it's being used as my media and tablet device.

The Galaxy 5S pretty much won me over to Android although I still like iPhone (and iOS in General) but 2 things must come, 1st I want to see the 5.5 inch screen version, my eyes could no longer handle the 4 inch screen (thus why I switched over to the S5) and 2nd, the camera needs to be more than 8MP, either a 13 or 16 MP will do.

That is true, but it holds its own, for everyday use with no tweaking, against just about any camera out there right now.
