Are you happy with your s6 Active

14 hours, with three hours to charge.
Disappointing. We need a survey!

Are you using the included quick charger AND do you have it plugged into a wall outlet? If so, this is not right and you should bring it back to AT&T to have them check it out it replace it..

UPDATE: I'm going through the posts chronologically and replied to one of your previous posts before seeing that you shoved the problem by using the included Quick Charger.

"you need to be using a Quick Charge 2.0 charger"

Thanks, that was the problem!

Also make sure you push the USB end fully into the charger port of the power brick. I got the 3-4 hours to charge one time with the samsung quick charger because I didn't fully push the usb cable end completely into the charging plug port of the brick.

I love my s6 active. I just upgraded from a s4 active. The main reason I up dated was for the screen. On my old phone in sunlight I had to take off my sunglasses put my hands over it and squint just to read it. Now everything is visable with out doing all that. Then there's the battebattery is been great. I don't miss having a removable battery. Just wish I had more storage.

In that case. There is no difference with the other android phone. I am curious about it just for the battery. But my wife stops me to buy it. It seems that it is a wise decision now.

Not usually. Too many to try out! I already returned the Active too!

Lol. I tried to pm you but it accidentally sent before I was done typing. Just reply back to it with your reason for getting rid of the Active.

Thanks!

I am so glad that I have this phone. I see so many people who have other devices that are really unhappy with their choices.

Battery life, sound quality, poor reception, tons of lag and a lot more issues.

The only thing I can say to Samsung is to offer the option of the 64/128 gig internal memory and allow the phone to be available everywhere. I would also love to see a pure edition sans all carrier bloat with all of the same features mine has with the full camera controls and raw....

Sure the form over function crowd will hate how it looks, that's to be expected, but I would wager if they did it would be their best selling device.

+1 on larger storage options. I would love at least 64 GB!

Guys, just wondering. My last two phones have been the note 2 and note 3. What I like about them is the single home button and the soft touch back button to the right of the home button etc. Just wondering what you active users think of using the physical back button as opposed to the soft touch (if you've come from previous samsungs). I use the back button quite often and the only thing so far about the s6 active that worries me is the clicking and harder pressing to get "back". Know what I mean.

Well you can always download the app called Simple Control and have your on screen buttons if you are worried too much about it, personally I'm not too concerned but have the app active just in case.😉

Been using Samsung layout keys since the captivate. The physical buttons felt odd for the first few days, perhaps a week. Now I don't even notice (after about three weeks I suppose).

AoN

I've never had them before this phone (2 weeks or so) and I had the same reservations... but i love them. Something very satisfying about having a physical button!

(NOTE: My biggest hardware gripe is that i wish they put the speaker on the top front. Seems like there was plenty of room to me.)

I came from the Note 2. Haven't even noticed the physical buttons. Love the active

I have had my S6 Active for 2 weeks and used it as my daily driver for that time. I have several other devices most recently a S6. I must say the S6 Active has grown on me. I like the size, heft, the amazing screen and camera, all the things that make the S6 a flagship device including **** kicking battery life. About the only complaint many have about the S6 is the battery life and the S6 Active really fills that void with a 3500 mAh battery. The buttons take a few days to get used to but they are fine and durable. talking on Att to another HD voice capable device is superb! (if you have the service in your area) I had the S4 Active for a while and it was in no way as capable as the S6 Active. Kudos to Samsung for refining this device into an awesome rugged device that can outperform other flagships without breaking a sweat and to ATT for sticking with the Active series devices!

I feel like I have a great set up. I use a CIMO TPU case for extra grip and to protect from scratches and a seidio G3 surface holster which fits the S6 Active with a TPU case very well for when i want to wear the phone on my pant or shorts.

I currently have the S5 Active and will be getting the 6 this week for the same reason I got the S5. Unlike a lot of people, I actually LIKE the rugged look. I don't need it (never drop my phone) but I like just knowing the protection is there and it has the extra plus of making it easier to hold. My only issue with this one is battery life which isn't overly bad but not great. I expect more from the S6. The non-removable battery isn't an issue but I do wish I could either use an SD card or they had higher capacity options. I also hope they continue the Active line as there were rumors around about that maybe going away. I can't think of any other smart phone made as solid/rugged except perhaps the higher end Nokia Lumias. Those are nice as well. And in case you're wondering... I HATE using cases.

Same here. I switched to the Active from an iPhone 6, just out of boredom, over a week ago, and I love it. Great battery life for me. And I actually like Touchwiz this time around. No issues so far.

One of the main reasons I don't like iPhone. It bores me silly. This time around it has the extra plus of being extremely slippery in the hand and unlike most, I hate using cases. The look was one of the few things I did like about the iPhone and now that's gone too. it looks like every other Android phone out there. I guess Samsung is more about function than form and iPhone just wants to look pretty.
