Keeps locking me up... Why......??

Did you let the ROM settle in or did you start messing with it before it had a chance to go through its paces? I've seen your posts before and guess you're a more experienced user. Having said that did you do a full wipe, format, and delete the BAMF extras folder. (I'm not trying to belittle you) From the BAMF forums I've seen people say to let the ROM settle in for one hour before using it and two hours is even better. Everyone I've seen with problems like you mention didn't let it settle in and a few had to reflash or let it settle in after a reboot. HTH

The only issue I have had with this ROM is that it kicked me into SAFE mode a couple of times....just had to do a battery pull for about a minute and then it was ok. Just got done doing the battery calibration and letting it drain to 0% to complete it.

I have been running BAMF's ROM for 2 months. I have also run Cubed, Gingeritis, Infected Eternity and even tried Zeus for about 5 mins.....I always come back to Forever after about a week!

Anyone know how to change this option?

I have been running CM7 and when I'm texting in landscape once I'm done I hit send, now with bamf when I'm done typing I have to hit DONE then send, is there anyway to make it just click send like in CM7?

I appear to be jamming now with the stock kernel baked into "10". Guess it had to settle in??? Thing zings now.. overclocked to 1400ish with bamf settings.

Edit: deleted bamf folder and re-flashed.

edit: 1400ish is no good for me and locks up. 1200ish is working great. guess that was it? funky britches.

I am guessing my phone didn't like 1400 ish with that kernel, it worked fine on beta 3 and with ziggys around that speed. Imoseyons kernel made my phone do odd odd things. wondering if there really are hardware build differences as is being discussed in the bamf thread. /shrug every time i oc to 1400 ish it just stops after a while.

oh well all is smooth on 1200ish.

bamf settings can make it go away. but g3d had me spoiled....

if the 1.10 was based off the official latest build, then why would htc logger even be included?

since htc actually removed that (supposedly) in the latest ota...

I've ALWAYS had this problem with BAMF Forever.. It was claimed to be fixed and baked into later versions, but that's never worked. At least MASS text deletion. I can do it one by one.

On a side note... I've had a lot of lagginess with this version. I've rebooted 4 times, and it's been settling in for 24 hours already. Going to try the Ziggy kernel on it.

is there any way to make the over all font bigger on this phone like you can with some of the other roms? the font looks smaller than normal on this rom

Hate to report that I'm going back to G3D. I've tried everything to get rid of the lag in this ROM. G3D is the only ROM so far that hasn't given me any issues, and all my apps work just as they should. Not to mention, G3D is the fastest and smoothest I've experienced yet.

adr is aware of something jacked (sluggishness) in the kernal from his bamf thread and the test 3 kernels have been updated by forum members to "plus" and "plus plus" until adr can get to it. There is an issue it seems and a fix is coming. Thanks Adr, you are very good to us as a community.

Dont give up yet csl, good things are a comin'.

wipe dalvik and cache and re-flash the rom without wiping data. I asked the exact same question on the bamf forums.



test 3 ++ seems great for now btw.

Right now, I am running ziggy 9/13. ziggy's latest just freezes like it does to G3D.

Yeah I went back to the Sep 13 one as well. I'm looking into giving bamf 1.10 a try.

I'm using the IMO rom. Much smoother than bamf kernel. No freezes.

Also, how does the imo 5.1.0 do on this?
