I was at work and didn't have time to investigate but switched it off and recharged, seems to have gone back to normal now
The Android Central forum profile is a lot less useful than I thought it was.
Or they've been using Tapatalk for years and it doesn't manage all of that detail so they don't bother with it.People just don't remember to update.
Just for you I've gone in and updated my profile, at least, the part of it concerning devices. The Android Central forum profile is a lot less useful than I thought it was.

FWIW my previous device was a Nexus 6P, which I still have in case disaster strikes. It was starting to shut off randomly at greater than 15% remaining and I couldn't trust it for work anymore. I did get a refurbished LG V20 that was supposed to replace it but OS and security updates were so slow that, when I saw the holiday deal at Target ($250 gift card along with the $300 Verizon billing credit) I decided to upgrade. Still loving my Nexus 7 (2013) tablet although I do kick myself for not getting an nVidia Shield K1 before they went out of production.
Slightly off topic but you could try using something like Stitchcraft Free https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.zheteng.android.stitchcraft.free whenever you need to show a long screenshot. Not so shabby after the Feb update.
My battery not only has been draining at lighting speed, charging time is ridiculous, 6 hours of charging for 50% battery. I have optimized the usage and shut all unnecessary background apps off. Please Google, help!
