I was getting odd battery life yesterday. It turns out gBoard was screwing something up. So I forced stopped it, and it leveled out the battery. I'm getting anywhere from 5-7hrs of SoT. If I'm on WiFi this phone sips battery. If I'm on LTE, it's a bit thirstier.
I'm scratching my head think how do you find time to spend that long in a day on the phone.
I have both enabledTo all the folks with these great battery life days .. Do you have the AOD and the "Now Playing" music thing enabled?
At what brightness level?I have everything enabled and I'm getting 7:30 SOT on avg through 3 full days of use.
By everything, does that include always on and now playing?I have everything enabled and I'm getting 7:30 SOT on avg through 3 full days of use.
With what brightness level? With AOD on or off? With "now playing" on or off?
Having always on and now playing enabled I was seeing about 3 hrs sot. disabling both I'm at 90% for 1 hr. So much much better.
I keep brightness around 24-30% sometimes I tweak it. Aod off, I found the feature to be more annoying than anything else really. I leave now playing on. I still get phenomenal battery life.

Yes. I have both on at all times and wifi most of the day and Bluetooth turned on all day syncing to my Fitbit or headphones/car. I have adaptive brightness turned on as well.
Gross, conditioning should be avoided if at all possible. That's a method that hasn't been advisable for at least 8 years.Pixel 2... I was trying to "condition" my battery and let my phone play Seinfeld on Hulu continuously..
I see that it stopped on Season 3 Episode 2... However, I got impatient at some point and turned the flashlight on after about 6 hours to help drain the battery...
