Best Buy Preorders?

At this point in time it is quite possible that BB stores have the pre orders in stores where the pre orders were made. Would they be allowed to have customers pick em up when pre orders from sprint start hitting their customer's doors?

Just called the 888 number and they're not even sure who or why they sent the new email containing the new release date. She even said her supervisor didn't know about it until she forwarded the email. That email must of come from the higher up guys that know something but yet to be official or its an email to keep people from canceling orders through BB. Hmm.....

Same here, I called to inquire and they sent my information the reaserch department. They are suppose to email me with some form of update. I ordered on the 9th.

Just got another email at midnight stating it was a incorrect email and they don't have a new release date just yet. They need to get there act together.

They who? It is out of Sprint, BB, Radio Shack and any other vendor's hands. This all comes down to HTC and Apple. Everyone else is just going by what info they get from HTC

Well ISN has confirmed that 5/23 is not a mistake so now Best Buy is going to have to send another e-mail telling people the same date again.

Not quite reading it the same way you are I guess...It days that they got smacked for releasing it first, or someone made a mistake, meaning that's not actually the date...That's how I read it at least.

Did anyone else hear of a June 2 cut-off date for Best Buy trade-in deal? I am anxious because one of their employees said the $50 off plus $50 gift card would not be available after that date for whatever reason.

Just got off the phone with my local BB. They said they believe Wednesday the 23rd. is the new release day.

i would assume that a random BBM employee citing the 23rd is because they read these forums/rumor threads and pass that off as the 'expectation'


I would love to be wrong and it be 5/23 though.

Best Buy had to have been told, in some capacity, that 5/23 was the new day. They sent out that official e-mail and everything after several days of total silence on the issue.

Just finished speaking with a rep from Best Buy Mobile customer care and he stated whatever launch date Sprint choose they'll be launching as well.
