I ordered the midnight black unlocked version right when the pre-orders went live. I received my order confirmation 12:12 AM on 8/24. Anyway the order status finally switched from processing to preparing. I will be using the phone on Verizon and have a Spigen Neo-Hybrid ready for the phone's arrival! This is my first Note and second Android phone...replacing my 2015 Moto X Pure Edition which has been a solid performer for me.

I hope your Moto X Pure has been as reliable as mine. I've read the horror stories of having to deal with sending units back for service. Lately my camera has been acting strange (not opening, freezing up) but a quick restart fixes that. Good luck on your Note!

I just sold my Pixel XL so I'm using my old Moto X Pure while I wait for the Note. The Pure is still a fantastic phone.

Just received word that another item that I ordered with the Note 8 from Best Buy that was shipped out before the Note 8 on Friday, was delivered to a Parcel Locker. What does that mean?
