Well the preordered gift is satisfied through Samsung. You just have to upload your HEX/IMEI/DEC number of the device along with the receipt etc and you should be good to go.

In my experience with Samsung freebies, it takes at least a month or two before you actually receive it.

But isn't the possibility of the pre-order items being claimed by all the early online orders gobbling them up? Since the fine print is "limited supply" and "first come first serve"

Also...Just got a response from my co-worker. We still can't release In-Store Preorders yet. She's going to keep checking throughout the day for me.

Possibly but with the sales that Samsung is expecting from the Note 8, I'm hopeful they will have enough for us as well.

what really ticks me off is that the promotion from Samsung must be done on phone if you ordered less than six devices. which means that Sammy is intentionally messing up those of us who have ordered and paid, have our receipts, but not our phones. nice way to treat N7 owners that were messed up by them. I get it going both ways. no upgrade discount and can't submit for my free gift on the N8. nice mess up Samsung. you really do only care about you.

One thing to try, don’t know if it’ll work. But when I had issues with their promotions before, they sent me like $250 in Samsung credit. It’s a vendor they through. I was communicating via Facebook messenger.

yes new. I did mine online with note 7. let me see if I can find the link again. I even tested to see if I could submit and got the message "less than six phones must submit on the phone" or something to that effect.

Why are some BB orders coming overnight, some 2nd day, and some 3 day ground? I'm a BB elite+ customer All of my BB orders are supposed to come free shipping, 2nd day air. This pkg( Note 8), was shipped UPS ground and it's taken 4, yes 4 days to get here- it's currently on the truck. what's going on here? #no logic

yup the same thing happened when I got the s8+. Super frustrating. I vowed then to never order for in store pickup again just because of that reason.

Grumble, grumble back at end of line. My note 8 officially busted. i just took it to a sprint store. Yes, they have note 8's and are selling them. Stopped at best buy, no they can't exchange my online order even though they have phones in stock. Just got off phone with bb customer service and am getting exchange sent. Woman said most likely won't get it until 15th. Grrr if i didn't want the $150 off so bad, i would be going back to the sprint store. Damn restocking fee better get waved.

So I got my verizon black note 8 in the mail yesterday. It only came in a plastic envelope so the bottom part of the phone box is busted. The phone itself seems to be ok but I haven't powered it on as I didn't have time to set it up and didn't want to activate it yet. Would you guys exchange it as the box got damaged in transit or if the phone functions fine, you would just let it go?

Just ordered my Note 8(AT&T, Black) from Best Buy this morning. Order status says preparing right now. I can't wait to get ahold of this thing. I was going to try to stick it out with my LG V20 a little longer, but I just couldn't help myself.
