this is my first preorder... going through best buy for the second time. I was debating a few things, one being that there is going to be a new gear vr to fit the note8, but nothing else is changed on it. second, was to wait and see if there are any good deals for the holidays, but I think I want this with me when I go on my honeymoon in October.

I'm thinking of upgrading from the S8+ (Verizon). Anyone know If I have to pay off 50% of my existing phone before pre-ordering? I have about $150 left to reach 50%.

Or is all that done when I pick up the Note and turn in my S8? I've never upgraded early before.

I got both of my Note 7s from Best Buy last year. I may go to Best Buy to get the Note 8 this year just because of the lower monthly payments and the promotional item.

Yes, you'll have to pay off 50% of your device and give it back to Verizon. You'll be able to pay half of it off now, and Verizon will send you an envelope to ship your phone out to them.
