Ok guys I just got off the phone with a rep and they told me that I do have a tracking number but they are still waiting for ups to come pick it up...
One explanation: A parcel locker is located at your community mail boxes. You would find a key in your mailbox with the locker number on it. Your package is in there.
If you don't have community mailboxes, check with your mail carrier or post office to ask where it was left.
Just got my shipping notice! Verizon pre ordered after midnight on release day. Scheduled to be delivered tomorrow! I'm actually surprised they are doing overnight shipping. Moving over from an iPhone 7 plus. I got the note 7 last year and loved it until I had to turn it in. Ready to keep this one!
I got a text saying my ordered had been shipped. I was all excited. when i opened it it was a text from amazon regarding a case i bought for he note 8. now im a sad sad man.

I never post here but read all of the time. Thought I'd share in the excitement and give others hope that phones are getting shipped! I didn't order until September 2nd and I just got a shipping notice about 15 minutes ago. I know others ordered much earlier and haven't gotten a ship notice yet so I'm sorry, please don't stone me! I am with Verizon and ordered Orchid Gray through Best Buy online. It is coming via UPS and says it will be here tomorrow, which truly stinks because I'll be two hours away at work and not home to sign for it.
At any rate, I hope this info is helpful.

Edited to add: I ordered two, one for me in Orchid Gray and one for my spouse in Midnight Black. I figured the Orchid shipped since I ordered it first (on the same day) but in looking more closely at my shipping notice, it is the black one that shipped. I have not received a shipping notice for the Orchid yet.
At any rate, I hope this info is helpful.

i just called they gave me a shipping tracking number but its not showing up on ups guess it still hasnt been picked up by ups. dammit ups pick up my phone and bring it to meeeeeee
