BestBuy S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

I was able to get my BB pre-orders to show up on my Order History page. Sign out of your account, select Order History as a Guest, enter your order number, name, etc. It then gives you the option to sign in and add the order to your account. Hope that helps some of you.

Thanks that worked for me! I know I'll get emails and text but I wanted to see it in my order history. I do know I was told that it depends how many they get in if I'll get mine right on the 8th or not. I pre-ordered on the 22nd in the afternoon which I think is the day pre-orders started right? I hope to get it on the 8th cause I am off that day.

It didn't work for me. I kept getting the error below, but there was no payment required?

"Please enter the last name and phone number associated with the payment method used when placing your order."

I didn't get this error message, but I did enter my last name & phone# (along with my order #). I also didn't make any payment yet on the phone.

I did pre-order 3 phones on the account and tried information for all 3 and still no luck.

Right but I'm talking in store at Best Buy! Well I guess people could have ordered online for pickup but then you couldn't take advantage of the 550 they told me had to be done in store so I don't know. I just hope I get mine on the 8th.

Why will you not get on 8th? You pre ordered first day so I wouldn't worry about it, relax and you will get an email or call on 7th evening to say that your device is ready for pick up

I don't know if that is just for new people pre-ordering or not. My husbands Samsung order still says the 15th which I hope cause we are going out of town on the 19th. Guess we'll just wait and see.

Yes but it's not some unknown company phone launch and there isn't anything in the phone that's crazy difficult to manufacture or something.
This is Samsung and they will have stock allocated to every store. Obviously if you aren't one of the first pre ordered there is always possibility of not getting on launch especially if you pre order now. Anyone who pre-ordered within the first two days should be fine.

Thanks! I thought so but wanted to make sure. I finally got through to someone at my store and he said yes if I already pre-ordered and was one of the 1st ones I will get my phone on the 8th. He did say I would end up getting the certificate worth $130 bucks and not the earbuds. But I'm good with that cause I'd rather wait and get the black ones.

Did you choose to have it delivered or pick up? Looks like some people might be getting it early. I unfortunately went into the store so I have to wait for it to come out on the 8th.

Oh ok. I haven't heard of Best Buy stores releasing the phones earlier than the launch date, that would be cool if they do though.

I still show no order history on my account but I have the emails and printed confirmations.

They've told me before their not allowed to let you have the phone early even if it gets to them before the release date. But I was told ordering online for pick in store you can't do the trade in. I just can't wait and hope he was right when he said I will get mine on the 8th and I hope their is no problems with the trade in since I said 3 or 4 times I am trading in an unlocked 9 plus to buy the unlocked 10 plus outright.

I ordered my S10+ Prism white color on the 27th in store for a trade in. I had an estimated date of 15th march, and now no estimated date on the site. Its gone, meaning its going to get delayed? I have a back up order for a black but Im leaning towards waiting for the white

I've had monumental disasters with Best Buy phone orders twice. Never again. I don't mean to be negative, but don't expect your phone anytime soon.

Best Buy is notorious for offering sweet pre-order deals and stringing you along until close to the release date only to change their story and pick up date late in the game. They over promise and under deliver.

I won't go into details here, but I can't tell you how many disgruntled customers I've seen along with myself for those 2 orders. I shouldn't have even have given them a second chance, but I did. I will never give them a third.
