BestBuy S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

I just went in to my BB and asked if mine came in, nope! I didnt yell at them or anything, they said they are getting some tomorrow. No point in yelling at them atleast thats what i think

I didn't yell, but I got quite frustrated. It just sort of bubbled out since I had lots of plans today, all of which started with getting the phone early. Went back later in the day and apologized to the mobile manager. We figuratively kissed and made up and she got me a white one they had in stock. She said lots of people were there with the same reaction today when then went home without a phone .

Just ordered from target for store pickup tommorow. Verizon financing with $200 target gift car. Lord verizon monthly plans are super expensive. $75 for 2gb of data. I will cancel within the first month and pay it off. I can't wait a month for bestbuy as I already sold my iphone X last week.

Well I've bothered my store enough. She did say a shipment of 60 phones were due in tonight and should of already been there. But I do know they had a 100 pre-orders. I just hope to get a call tomorrow before work if not Sunday or Monday maybe.
 
Spoke to BB tonight around 5pm, mobile guy says shipment came in and needs to check inventory if it's there would call back by 7pm. Get a call around 6pm, "sorry but your phone is not there. We getting more tomorrow but I can't tell if your order will be on it because there's no tracking information. We may get some on Sunday or maybe Monday" I've been very patient and polite with this guy, but just don't jerk me around. If you know my phone is not coming this weekend, be honest and tell me. Then 5 minutes later I get the dreaded email stating the order is delayed and may not be fulfilled until April 7. Wow, this has been quite the experience! I'm tempted to cancel and go through Verizon but trade-in is not as good and the trade-in money is spread over 2 years.

I'm worried now I dread getting the April 7th email OMG my store did say they would take care of me but if I lose out on the buds they better reimburse me with a $130 Best Buy Gift Card. I feel sorry for everyone going through this.
 
Well I'm happy rocking the s10+. Interestingly enough mine was the only one from AT&T that they had in stock today

You're lucky! I preordered at 2am,the night of preordering from Samsung's website. Not even the full second day of ordering! I have a delivery date of 3/15th,with buds backordered until the end of April. What the!? I am waiting on a white, ceramic S10+. I think it's totally up in the air regarding phone delivery dates. I have heard that sales were way beyond what Samsung was ready for!
 
BB tells me it should be only seven days. When I ask why I should believe them when more than two weeks ago they said I'd have it on release day they were speechless. Never again BB.... search for "Best Buy pre-release delay" and you will see the numerous times they have played this game. Never again, BB... not for me. I go somewhere reputable next time (like Samsung or the carrier; never been disappointed by them).

I know I won't do Best Buy again neither. Much less Samsung my husband did the reserve thing which said guaranteed 3/8 he still has a 3/15 ship date. Me I have no Idea Best Buy can't tell me anything except 60 phones are on the next delivery truck which I bet they didn't even get tonight.
 
Here is my weird story in Austin, Texas. Preordered at BB on day 1 and got email ready for pick up today. Went to the store and when he went to do the Note 9 trade in, he said the trade-in is $380.00 due to not being carrier bought since I got the unlocked model. Told him that is wrong, it is $550.00 for preorder and to check. He called someone and after 30 mins back and forth, BB has been having an issue w system not crediting the trade-in value correctly. The BB rep on the phone gave him a code for an addtl $170 to bring it to $550.00 in credits and got the phone and walked out. Overall very happy just spent additional unwanted time due to a BB system glitch.

My store said they were aiming for 160 pre-orders. Not sure what they ended up with
 
Just picked up my Unlocked Galaxy S10 + from Best Buy here in Orange County, California. Was worrying just like everyone and finally got my pickup confirmation text and email last night at midnight.
Used their App to let them know I was on the way to pick up, I was literally in and out in 5-10 minutes. They also had a specific Samsung table set up with people answering questions. I'm glad I was one of the lucky ones, cause if you look online, they're out of stock on all of them. I've started with the original Galaxy S, then S4, then S6 Edge Plus till I dropped it in the water 3-4 times but I recently tried plugging in the S6 in again and miraculously it turned on What a Trooper of a phone, but this is a nice upgrade for me. Hoping for a speedy turnaround for everyone else who's waiting, can totally understand the frustration.

I headed up north for my family vacation after I was disappointed at best buy. We had to stop at Walmart which I don't shop at. I walked by the phones and guy goes can I help you. I told him just looking but I preordered a blue s10+ 128 from best buy which I didn't get. He goes I'm sorry. How much they charge and I said 39 a month. He goes that's to bad we have 1 s10+ in white and its 33 a month. I was tempted but I want the buds
 
I did the best buy pre order on Feb 24 s10e 128 black. I got a call from best buy yesterday and set up an appointment for the verizon rep today at 12:30. This was the easiest transfer from an old s7 to the s10. The only issue is they were only going to do a $50 discount instead of the 100 discount that was displayed when i did the pre order. I didn't give them a hard time because I knew it should have been $50 discount and I figured it was a computer error. I put down 300 on the phone and I am very happy with it. I got the otterbox commuter for good protection. I am getting good battery life and I got most everything set up. The rep said he hasn't even seen a pink one. I hope the other people here get their phones before April 7 because that is an unacceptable wait time.
 
Wow I'm sorry so many are having problems here. I was in and out in less than 10 min. So it wasn't a horror story for everyone.
 
Last posting in the Pre Order thread. Got an email this morning at 10:07 stating that my Blue ATT is ready for pickup. Walked in at 2:30 and was out by 2:45 activated, trade in done, and worked on my registration for the free buds. So far so good.
 
So who in here pre ordered the blue model on Verizon and recieved theirs? It's nerve racking as it seems bb has every other carrier blue in stock expect for Verizon.
 
Idk how that is possible... I ordered same exact phone but on the 24th.. maybe your store isn't popular enough that it is not receiving enough shipments. Regardless that is unacceptable

My store is way popular actually. Metro NJ area lol. I think they said they had 150 pre-orders. No blues came in though for Verizon.

I ordered the S10 in both blue & white on 2/27, Verizon models, and picked them both up today. The activation and trade-out was quick & painless.
