BestBuy S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Amazon I had a gift card I got from work I got 2 I-blason cases and the Spigen for me and a Neo-Hybrid for my husband. And his white looks so nice in the clear case.

Oh and I just called the 1800 # and complained again she offered me a $25 dollar gift card so I took it and it will ship within 7-10 days.

Try the chat support. See if they give you an actual date. The 1800 number is a joke

What did you order a regular S10 and what color? I know I just wish I could get a date but the pink is so popular. I never had an availability date to begin with just said we'll let you know and I wish I would of caught that before I left the store and changed to white but too late now. But yes a little info of when would be helpful and no-one knows anything. But I know now never again with Best Buy.

It's not that the pink is so popular. Wouldn't be surprised if it sold less than all of the other colors, it's probably just more popular than they thought it would be. More of a too low of a supply is my guess. I'm sure they probably made 10x more of the black and white which makes it seem like pink is more popular than they really are since no one can get it. Hopefully they're ramping up production of the pink to meet demand so you can get one soon!

Well it wouldn't hurt to try. That's been the most effective one for me. I ordered the glitter case but it wont be here till late march

It's not that the pink is so popular. Wouldn't be surprised if it sold less than all of the other colors, it's probably just more popular than they thought it would be. More of a too low of a supply is my guess. I'm sure they probably made 10x more of the black and white which makes it seem like pink is more popular than they really are since no one can get it. Oh well thanks though! I'll be out of town Wed and wont be back till Mon. And they say I have to pick it up within 5 days of when it comes in but If I am out of town and I'm gonna lose out cause of 5 days I will talk to the manager and make them hold it cause of the problems with the pre-order but I am not counting on getting it Mon neither and I leave Tues so their next shipment will be Wed or Fri But I don't believe that neither since they didn't get anything last night. I don't believe anything anymore and am not calling them anymore. I just keep going to their website to pretend to order one to see what ship dates say. LOL!

I had several go well with them in the earlier days, back in the HTC heyday, but it only takes one disaster to sour your taste on Best Buy's pre-orders...my disaster was during/after the S8 pre-order and that was enough for me.

If I ever preordered again I would do it right when you can preorder. Me waiting until the 3rd prolly just made things worse. The only reason I went to best buy is because they offered 24 months and then you get to keep the phone with sprint versus going through sprint store where you lease for 18 months. I've heard getting at target was good for others have you checked there

I pre-ordered om 2/22 the same day my husband pre-ordered with Samsung and he has his phone. It's my fault cause I cancelled my very 1st Samsung order and I was 1st due to wanting a different case and then we ordered his and when I went back to do mine we got credit card alert and mine didn't go through the 2nd time and then I found out you can't do 2 in the same household anyway so I just cancelled my 2nd order knowing it wasn't going to go through anyway due to our credit card being declined. And I didn't know at the time Best Buy would do what Samsung was doing cause I really didn't want to deal with trading back to Samsung anyway.

So I went to best buy and they have the s10 prism white in stock and the s10 plus in 512 in stock but not the phone I ordered. I really wanted the plus phone but idk if Iwanna just get the s10 today instead and lose my preorder

Yeah...I was all HTC from the OG Evo up through the One M8. Briefly had an M9 before moving over to an S6 Edge, all Samsung since. Almost hard to believe now how big a player HTC once was.

Wow us too all HTC starting with the original Evo and I had an HTC Windows phone with a slide out keyboard before that. And we went all the way up to the nine and it wasn't as good as the 8 and that's when we switched over to the 7 Edge. Steve that the Note 8 which my husband still has well not anymore he just got the 10 plus and I have the 9 plus I didn't like the Note 8 too big for me and I never used the pen. And I wanted the AR emoji lol.

That sucks which color did you order I forgot? I hate to lose my pre-order too and by the time my husband's phone gets returned to Samsung if I don't have my phone yet then I could just switch back to Samsung but they may not be doing the 550 anymore by that time who knows.

I got prism white 128. I decided I will just wait. My cancel button went gray so who knows if they would have allowed it anyways. But if I was told the 21st and it doesnt come I'm gonna be pretty mad. Prolly stupid to be but by then it will be ridiculous. My boyfriend doesnt see the big deal

Rose, I too preordered the pink and still have received no word on it. I went in and ended up buying the black, which they had in stock. If you think about it, you're most likely going to put a case on it anyway so I decided to give up choice color to get the phone. However, I submitted my receipt of the preorder of the pink phone and got approved to receive the buds still. So really, if you have proof of the preorder, there's still a chance you can forgo your preorder, buy a different color, and use the proof of preorder to still receive the buds.

For anyone worried about losing the buds in cancelling their preorder and buying another phone, I did this and still got approved for the buds. If you have proof of preorder, just follow the instructions to submit it on the buds offer. I was approved even though I still have not received my preorder and chose to buy an S10 that was in stock in store.

(Sorry if this went through twice, still getting the hang of this forum site). Rose, I also preordered the pink and still have no word of its arrival. I ended up going to my local BB and picking up a black they had in stock. Gave up my choice color, but I was putting a case on it anyway. AND I got approved to receive the buds. I went through the steps on the phone I bought and used the preorder receipt I have. Other people have also had luck with this. Some don't agree with it, but for as long of a wait as it's been, I preordered like everyone else and I'm getting buds I should've received, just like I and everyone else should've recieved their phones ages ago.
