Hello everybody.
My mobile detects SIM card and network operator but when I try to make a call does not ring towards the outside
I have tried everything that was in the Web for 3 days, including flashing new Android 11. Mike and speaker work.
Any chance that someone can fix this?
Thanks a lot and best regards

Can you describe exactly what happens when you try to make a call? Does it show the calling screen, but you don't hear it ringing through the earpiece? Have you confirmed with the person you try to call that it didn't ring, and they didn't even get a Missed Call notification?

Or does your Phone app immediately return you to the dialer screen (or crash) after hitting the Call button?

Dear friends, just now I have a bright idea, for a change: I replaced the motherboard with another one that I had and now the phone works again and charges but has the same old problem, no outgoing calls. Can we go back where we were and try some solution?
Thanks a lot and best regards.
Your Italian friend.

Ok, then go back to my previous suggestion -- can you try calling someone right next to you and see if their phone even gets a missed call notification?

Unfortunately I wouldn't know how to do it because I am here in a Portuguese village since september and I do not have any friends yet. At least I do not have anyone who has given me his phonenumber

Thank you. No, I am positive the SIM is not faulty. Apart from that, when I tap Networks (my phone is in Italian) and then SIM card Manager I see that Calls and Messages (SIM 1) are in grey writing instead of black. Nothing: the SIM is detected, the network is registered but no outgoing calls. Very funny.

I found online exactly my problem on the Samsung forum and Samsung's reply is this: (I cannot use Samsung Members because I have no network). I am beginning to think that the SIM is detected but defective or maybe the SIM slot is not OK:
Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

We acknowledge your query and apologize for the same. As one of the SIMs is not getting detected. Please check the SIM slots using the Samsung Members application if the SIM slots are working or not. The steps are given below:
Samsung Members>>Get Help>>Interactive checks/Diagnostics option.

If the SIM slots are not working fine, please visit the nearby service center. The link is mentioned below. Using this you can get the details of the nearby service center.

If the slots are working fine, please check the SIM in the other device and register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback > Error report/Ask questions).

Thank you for writing to Samsung.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support.

Nos Calls and Messages are no longer grey but black, the Vodafone SIM is detected but still no outgoing ringing
I added a Lyca SIM (Portuguese), now both SIMs are detected in the opening phone screen above left position, Dual SIM always on (it says in SIM Card Manager) but no outgoing ringing.
Please read also above messages.
Also, I went into Devices>Smart things and it says "There was a problem connecting. Try again" and when I tap "contact us" it says "Server error"

You said you flashed a new ROM for Android 11. Was it intended for your exact model number? Flashing a ROM for a different model (even slightly different) could potentially cause problems.
