so by being an android enthusiast that means you bash another phone? If that is what you mean then yes I will never understand why android users would bash other android users. Please dont give me that lame excuse you clearly stated multiple times how the bionic pretty much will be a P.O.S. I forgot you must own a bionic since you make all these assumptions. Yet you say the same thing about the droid 3 blur when you said all you were going by was some shady comments on verizon website(which im sure from reading them half either dont have the actual phone or have never used a smartphone) and from videos you saw on the web. Pleas you are not an android enthusiast you are no better than the isheep. Atleast they dont bash eachother.
There is a HUGE difference between bashing and being critical. Again something you will never fully understand. Drop the subject and move along. Lets not hijack this thread anymore than we already have.

Ha oh so you are so much more insightful than everyone else. It's just sad. But anywhoo should be interesting once both these phones are out. Another good sign is kellex also said his source said the bootloader would be unlocked in november who knows how true it is but he is usally pretty correct and if that is the case then that will lead to a huge dev following and ability to get rid of the blur and run some custom roms.
sorry to interrupt but just for s**** and giggles I decided to call vz customer service and ask about my upgrade. Before I even mentioned the bionic, the girl actually said there is a new motorola device coming out soon that I should consider waiting for. I asked her if it was the bionic and she said yes. She said there wasn't a confirmed date but the buzz was getting real thick around her office about it. She said she had heard that verizon was now considering doing a presale because they are expecting there to be availibility issues with this phone. I know this isn't by any means breaking news but I thought I would share. It struck me as odd that she would tell me to hold off on my upgrade before I even mentioned the Bionic.
I hope it doesnt have any availability issues like the inc had. But then again I cant see there being that much of a demand like what the iphone did. I mean if they cant manufacture enough to atleast keep stock for a few weeks or so I would be very disappointed. I think moto will keep enough in stock because they know that if they go out of stock for long periods of time, that may just deter some people to wait for something else.
Weren't these the ones shown awhile back that still had the old camera slot from the original bionic? Do you have any pics of the back of the cases?
I just did one of those online chats with a vzw rep and they said closer to the fall season it is funny how much different info you will get lol.
I seen these last weekend and took the pics today will check the backs if I go back there

Verizon. That said, there is only a small amount of shifting of the dates of competitive releases around. Verizon needs to make sure their staff is trained and they have some attention to store traffic, but they're not going to shift the release date by more than a few days, maybe a week, on account of these concerns. So no one is saying, well the Bionic isn't really ready for launch until September but we better move it up by a few weeks so that it doesn't compete with the new iPhone. Or, once its ready, they would not delay it significantly either. When its ready, its ready.
I agree about the notification light. I hate that Samsung doesn't include them and HTC's aren't any better because they put them in the earpiece speaker grille so you can hardly see them anyway. Motorola's are the best because you can customize the color and they are easy to see.
As long as the testing is going well. But there are always problems, especially with new components, especially new radios. I don't think we've heard much of anything about how the testing is going with the current Bionic.
So who gives the okay to start the advertising? If moto thinks it is ready do they have to get verizon's okay?

I'm hoping that we hear something shortly. I'd consider buying a Charge if I don't hear anything on the Bionic by the 27th (leaving the country and would love to have the phone for the trip). I'd consider a SG2 if it were being released soon, but if its Bionic & SG2 in Sept/Oct then it might be a Charge.
