LOL - i spit soda thru my nose when i read this part: "Android v2.2 Froyo OS is just icing on the Motorola Droid Bionic?s cake." uh, yeah, stale crusty sugarless icing...
The end of waiting
Do I really need the latest greatest Bionic or would the Charge be capable of what I need it to do.
Things I would like to do with phone:
*Pictures and rec video
*play movies via mirror mode (netflix preferred)
*any type of map app and GPS
*browsing internet
*traffic and weather real time
*sure a few other apps......
That is what I would most likely be using the phone for, so would I need dual core and more RAM? What can I do with the bionic that I would not be able to do with the charge. I have never owned a smartphone and currently have a Samsung Intensity. I really do not know any other OS and was wondering if I may be getting caught up in all the tech stuff, and I am kinda ready to put a END to the waiting.
By the way, thanks for all the discussion that takes place, have gained lots of good info on many different topics.

Everything you want to do can be done on the Charge just as well as itll 99% likely do on the Bionic. People that want Bionic are mainly just caught up on the specs. You will probably not notice any difference using the 2 for your needs.
For me, the reason im waiting is because i like Motos build quality. I like that they build their phones like a tank. I also liked the look of the original Bionic, but now that the form factor is up in the air, who knows anymore, but since ive waited, i might as well continue.
I also really like the physical buttons on the CHarge. They felt great. I wish they dont abandon them in the future.
What does everyone think of this?

Well that stinks. The date at the top of the page shows today's date, but there is also one [note as obvious] at the bottom with a date of April 2. So what gives with April Fools jokes on the 2nd?

That was originally put out there on April 1st. That date was a April fools joke.
Hey no it's not. The article clearly states it's coming June 9th despite any dates. Until Verizon or Motorola says otherwise it's coming June 9th.
I'm tipping Phil right now. This needs to be front page news.
Quit speculating Preach it says June 9th. April Fools has nothing to do with it. People don't do those things. That date jives with the article Friend-O posted.

Upon further investigation great "strength" and "speed" can only mean "Bionic" and "LTE." and you will notice it said: use it wisely THIS COMING MONTH

I'm in!!! just make sure you get there no later than midnight. if i'm a little late, just save my spot in line - i'll be along shortly (Jennifer Aniston can be a little clingy when it comes to spooning time)...
It doesn't matter if it has LTE. If the Bionic is released anywhere near the new iPhone ( announcement or on sale date) it is going to get eaten alive. People (outside of the hardcore fans) just simply won't care about the Bionic if there's a new iPhone right around the corner.
