So what does this really mean? I am really hoping the Bionic is released sooner than August. I have a July upgrade and want to dump my BB. LTE is hitting Sacramento in June and I'm starting to think a 4G phone is what I should switch to. TBolt and Charge as my only options? Sorry, but I want more choices than that.

The Revolution was released today. So, that's another option.

I think 3 is more than enough to choose from, afterall Sprint had WiMax longer and it still only have 2 or 3.

3 LTE devices (2 brand new), DX2 and another new Droid on the horizon (D3) That's a pretty impressive lineup already. And I'm saying that for the lay person.

Agreed. And so far the X2 leads the pack. Wish they modified the design slightly but whatever. Revolution looks nice and pulled an 1800 quadrant score out of the box. Not bad for a single core. X2 was like 2800 or something.

Comparing the Charge and Revolution to the X2 really makes me hope Bionic can drop by late june early july. I am moving to a new house on 7/15, so new house, new bionic they say! (okay maybe its new baby, but I would definitely prefer a bionic!)

My Moto rep was in last week, and said the launch date was at the end of June. He is part of the quality control group that tests new devices, and said he will get his test unit "soon".

So phil has got to state the obvious and that would make everyone feel better?

I doubt it. People would then demand to know what the new info is, why it changed, what he originally heard and on and on and on. Being that he hasnt posted anything should tell you already that the info is no longer valid.

We already have a loose timeline in August as the drop date. Take a look at the Photons specs you're probably looking at the Bionic.

Its a sprint phone. Spec wise its everything like the original bionic, except its 1gig of ram, and it uses WiMax.

An Atrix with 4.3" screen. There are no pics of the form factor but everything else is identical....yes even CrapTop.

I say go for the Charge. Something i may consider as well. Sell off Charge and buy retail Bionic later on. Then sell off Charge.

Some of the things I'm reading around the providers make me think the pressure is on to get it out. It looks like the competition is taking advantage of the gap.

If I were Moto I would make it seem like later than expected as strategic jostling. I hope my corns are right.

End of June seems like nothing compared after months of waiting and with speculation that an August/September release was looking likely! I can hold on to my dying D1 for a month no problem.
