Uh Oh! That took a bunch of pain out of waiting. I remember waiting for a Camero to release its specs and then the Mustang 302 B.O.S.S. hit the show rooms. Loved that Car!

The Muscle Cell Phone Era! Love It!

Don't think you'll see the GS2 before the Bionic though. We haven't seen any leaks at all of the GS2 yet.

That's fine. I'm gonna wait for the price drop and all the hands on reviews here anyway.

Cannot help but remember Ford, GM & Mopar going at it tooth and nail and all the while the consumer benefiting. Then came Nader.

@ravenlore Clarification-I am speaking of the new Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 that is 4G. ^CB

Just tweeted by VZW Support .So no 4G info on SGSII, just misinfo.

I feel good. I made a bunch of GS2 fanboys mad over at Droid Life with my comments on it being called the Fascinate 2. Never thought myself to be a troll lol.

My comments are near the top. I think probably the second set of comments from the top liked.

For the bionic release this is sort of like chatter that the NSA tracks with terrorist. With all the rumored dates we know they are getting close. If you look at it this way there is a lot of logistics that have to happen between final test approval and actual launch. They have to make final. Updates from test builds to production builds (remove bug tracking and other test sw, an probably lock the boot loaders), then they have flash that final build and ship to the brick and mortar locations. So at this stage they probably have a few dates being thrown around depending on the final testing. So say they have a bug and they are getting a fix they are probably calculating how long to test that bug, how much regression testing isneeded and if the bug is resolved with no new issues how long to get the devices to stores and launch. Based on the fluidity that can occur at this point they probably have several dates circled on a calendar somewhere. If you work in IT, you know how this goes.

All too well unfortunately.

Not sure if this is accurate/true or not, but here it is.

Motorola CEO Outs Droid Bionic Release Date As Sometime In September

28Jul1Motorola CEO Outs Droid Bionic Release Date As Sometime In September
Posted by Cameron Summerson in Droid Bionic, News

In an earnings call today, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha dropped the bomb that the Droid Bionic would be hitting the streets sometime in September. No exact launch date was specified, but this falls right in line with the September 1st launch date that has been rumored for the past couple of weeks. This is the first somewhat official date that we've heard come out of either Motorola or Verizon's camp, and with the Samsung Galaxy S II right around the corner, it looks like competition is going to get stiff very soon.

Funny thing is droid life posted on 7-21 an article about how they missed the fcc dates on the filings about the 8/7 release of documentation. Talking about a possible Aug 4th release date. All I can say is #epicfail #motorola and #droidlife. Old news and old phone at this point. QQ I'm so bummed. I guess I just may be waiting for nexus prime or gs2 at this point.

I have been following the Motorola Tablet support forums for months and the traffic is very heavy.
I do this like I would here after the Bionic releases to see what is reported before making a decision to purchase.
All I can say is from what I read there I am not getting a Moto Tablet any time soon.
I can only suspect they are having major 4G issues in either the Xoom, Bionic or both.
The fact they want them to both roll out at the same time and cannot seem to do it points in the direction of technical difficulties to me. Just my gut feeling.
I use my devices in business so I must restrain from being the first one in the store upon a release to Ginny Pig it in the field. I rely on the good folks here to post what they experience.

Still Waiting but now looking at the competition just in case. If I were a competitor I would pounce NOW.

I just wish someone would do something soon. I don't like any of the current offerings and all the MFG's are talking the talk but not walking the walk as we the consumer begin to cool off.

I want to see this Nexus Prime - Big Time!
