Black one doesn't stand up well to everyday use.

Lol. As long as you all follow forum rules this thread will carry on. Oh my. Irritating threads be irritating......ha ha.

I saw a video on Youtube of someone who has a black One. He said he dropped it on accident and one of the corners chipped and the silver was exposed. It's definitely using a similar process to the iphone 5, so I would expect it to show silver underneath in the same manner. This would bother me too much, I'd get the silver One. It will be less noticeable if you do happen to ding it. I don't see the point in buying a beautiful phone like this and putting it in a cheap plastic case. My opinion only.

That's disappointing, my naked black Z10 has no marks on it after a month of being pocketed.

This.

Just because you report a post doesn't mean you'll get a response, and likewise, if there's a response it doesn't mean you'll know about it. :)

Let's not get too personal folks.

You only need to look a bit deeper and you will see most of the posters are S4 or ONE owners / would-be S4 or ONE owners. This is just an proxy war.

Unless someone who actually has a black HTC ONE can weigh in and provide some valuable input. Nothing good will come out of this thread but more Samsung vs HTC, plastic vs metal debate which has happened over and over again in countless threads.

Yep, I did weigh in as a naked black HTC One user. First week, no issues, even with accidentally leaving coins in pockets. The biggest problem I have is worrying about dust getting through the speaker grills!
