Important Information, this is not found at XDA Developers.. You must go threw the official Bonsai for Android website and register as a user to download the new version. It will take you threw a "checkout" process as if your buying a product online but the ROM is free once you register.

registered and jumped through the hoops. Won't add anything to my shopping cart to download... Seems to be flakey

Edit: Logged out and back in of website and now its working. Downloading. I'm on Syndicate Frozen right now, do I have to Odin the stock sprint EC05 or can I just flash Bonsai in clockwork?

Check your registered email with Bonsaigeek.com, you will receive an email with the download link inside.

Maybe a stupid question, but can I just flash this if I'm on Bonsai 3.0.1 or do I have to Odin back to stock first?

Yes you can flash it on Bonsai 3.0.1, CWM3.0.0.6. You will have to download the new EC05 modem from Bonsai site and flash that separately with Odin. Don't worry this is simply a modem update, nothing will happen to your device.

Does the modem update have any significant effect? I haven't heard much about it other than that it exists.

Yes according to posts at XDA I've been following users are seeing a big increase in download/upload speeds from the new modem and less data lockups.

I believe so.. Info at Bonsai's site.

Edit: I'm running it now :) minus the new EC05 modem.

I'll take a look then. I'm on wifi 90% of the time and have honestly only used 3g once so its not a big deal to me, but since I have no intention of going to the official ec05 it may be nice to get some benefit from it lol.

About an hour ago I flashed the modem with Odin and then flashed the ROM with CWM and it's working great. I had some force closing with my Gmail app but cleared data and cache and all is well now. I can't tell much difference yet from Bonsai 3.0.1 but we'll see how it goes.

I'm curious how Bonsai got EC05 ahead of everyone else.

Search around XDA, you will find the answer like I did and others.. ;)

Mammon even comments on having a "inside source" himself.

I was in EB13 stock, unrooted and from there I 1 click clockworked. wiped and then flashed the rom. Then used odin to flash the modem file and the baseband went from Eb13 to Ec05.

Havent noticed any problems yet, I hope I went about it the right way when I installed it as there are not a lot of instructions on how to do it so I figured just flash with clockwork regardless of which OS i was using.

ive got it, with the ec05 modem. its noticibly faster when booting. sleek. smooth running. but its very... minimal. i like android for all it can do. im gonna see how much theming i can do on top of it.. if i can move a lot of my ACE stuff on to bonsai. nice rom, but just.... boring.

Watch what you pull over into Bonsai. ACE is not CIQ Removal compliant and therefore things you pull over into Bonsai will cause FC's.

If your going to "theme" then your best route is to start from scratch and use the .apks in the Bonsai ROM because those are all CIQ Removal compliant. I know the names of the apks and other files that make the CIQ Removal "work" but its too many to ramble off here... Just use my suggestion and go with Bonsai's apks and theme those.
