Cases For G2 - All Carriers - Listed w/Links & Pics

Oh wait, never mind. It looks like the AC forum automatically places all Amazon links as affilaite links for its own benefit. It converts them automatically.

Sorry, dude, no hard feelings.

No problem man, I understand your initial frustration. Interesting to know that AC converts posted links, guess it makes sense for them though, it is a business after all.

I am now using a case from T-Mobile, they had the best selection and the body glove case I got is ok, adds a little bulk, but keeps the lifted on both sides! I don't care for kickstands, but for now its ok...really wish I could find a slimfit style that covers the bottom and top too!

I have the Verizon version of the Incipio Feather. I just noticed it doesn't have the hole for the microphone above the flash on the back. Great. I bought it through the Verizon web site. You'd think the case would have the hole. What am I sacrificing by having this covered up?

I was also going to order the Verizon shell/holster combo. Now I'm wondering if that has the hole or not. On their web site it doesn't show that view.

Are there any good quickwindow cases out there other than the 1st party one that anyone's tried? I know eBay and Amazon have a couple, but wanted to see if there was someone on here that's tried one and what their opinions were.

I just took the case off my VZ G2 and there are no holes on the back above the flash on the phone. There are on the top and they are not covered by Incipio feather case that I have.

The shell holster combo are usually good with having the right amount of ports and Mic holes. I just ordered mine and should be arriving in 3-4 business days.

Guess what? I just took my Incipio case off, and I don't have that hole on my phone, either! I was going by my Verizon silicone case that I bought at the time I purchased the phone. That has the hole there, so I assumed my phone did, too. I thought I read it was a microphone. I wonder why they added the hole in that case if none of the Verizon phones have it? Well, that's good news for me, anyway. I don't need to worry that I'm covering up anything, and I feel confident enough now to order the shell/holster case unless I can find that another company has released a holster yet. Thanks!

This is the Incipio Dual Pro case in black. Better drop protection than Diztronic but not as sleek looking. Little bit less coverage on the back because they decided on one single opening for lens, flash, and mic.As you can see it is a grease and pocket lint collector. Little better grip than Diztronic.5.jpg6.jpg7.jpg8.jpg

Im looking for a slim matte black case... I would like to be able to put 1credit crd and 1ID inside the back of the case and still be able to clip the case on the phone. Can anyone try this on our current case? non-Verizon.

for the Spigen. i have it but i cant figure out why theres a cut out at the top right cornor

Up to and including the S3 I always went naked on my phones. I dropped the S3 a LOT and wish I had put a case on it - ended up with a small crack on the screen. The G2 has the same slick back so I needed to get some kind of case and went straight to the Incipio Feather - this is the thinnest, lightest case you can get and it makes the feel on the G2 totally different (in a good way). It also makes it easier to find the back buttons for volume/power. If you want basic protection that adds a nice matte feel (no more greasy fingerprints on the back) with only about 1 mm add to the thickness this is the case for you - $24.99 direct from Verizon (got it for $18.99 with company discount).

Yeah, the incipio feather is awesome! No idea how much protection it will provide in a drop, though.

I actually dropped my phone within 2 weeks of having it from below waist level and it shattered the screen and rendered the digitizer useless. So yes, I would recommend a case with this phone. Thank you squaretrade for a wonderful insurance policy.
