Cases For G2 - All Carriers - Listed w/Links & Pics

I just don't like hiding the phone that the companies take so much time and effort to design. If all the phones looked the same, sure, I'd throw a big bulky defender on there.

the companies only care about the money you spend on the phone... YOU care about your purchase..... Protect it. Take it out the case at home and molest it all you want LOL

The funny part is... I WAS at home. In my bathroom. Any other phone wouldn't have broken or even cracked. The G2 is a really fragile phone.

Does anyone know if a case for the AT&T and T Mobile LGG2 Will fit the Sprint LGG2?

I'm pretty sure that they are all interchangeable. I have a TMobile case on my ATT. The only version that is different is Verizon.

Amazon.com : MPERO Collection Tough Armor Kickstand Black Case with Belt Clip Holster for LG G2 : Cell Phones & Accessories

I just got the above case today, although with the Caseformers brand. Note that the one I received doesn't have the brand name on the holster which suits me just fine. YMMV.

It's not very clear in either description, but this is a hybrid combo case, so it has an inner soft silicone case, an outer plastic shell with a kickstand and the slide-in holster.

The silicone fits my Sprint G2 great and has all the requisite access points and a 2mm lip to protect the screen. The side-clips on the plastic shell deform ("squish") the silicone by a hair, but not enough to affect the viewable portion of the screen. Unless you were looking for it, you wouldn't notice it with the screen off, but it's a tad more noticeable when the phone's on.

The shell's kickstand is only good for landscape mode, but that's the most common orientation for using a kickstand so it's not a big deal. I used the kickstand on my HTC Thunderbolt in vertical orientation a few times, but I doubt I really miss it.

The holster clip can also be used as a kickstand, although why you would do so is a mystery to me. The phone only goes into the holster screen-in, so it's not like you can see the screen when it's in the holster. I suppose you could use the camera with the kickstand in the holster, but I can't think of many use cases for that.

Be aware that the black felt in the holster can discolor the silicone. I've slipped mine in and out of the holster just a few times and the bottom edge of the white silicone is black-smudged. I may be able to clean it and it may fade over time.

Overall, it's a well-built case, although bulkier than I would like. It's just as thick as my stock Verizon Thunderbolt combo holster, which is a shame since the G2 is 30% thinner than the T-bolt.

I'll keep my eyes out for a thinner holster. Seidio's SURFACE combo is apparently shipping now, but it's $55 retail, and as of this writing not available on Amazon.

Just got my Ballistic Aspira case! I knew I was going to love it, because my partner has one on her S4 and she loves it. It offers pretty good protection considering how thin it is and they really did a good job in regards to the side bezel. I also prefer the rubberized power/volume buttons of the case vs. pushing the stock buttons.

Really glad the Seidio Surface case and holster are available now. I've had them for both my OG EVO and my EVO 4g LTE and absolutely love them!!

Got my ATT G2 Thurs after Thanksgiving and the spigen slim armor black. I love the fit of it. And this thread helped make my case decision easier with the pics. Thanks

I have no idea what case to get. I have had the phone for almost two weeks and I want a hybrid case. I like the spigen but why don't they make a North American version without the antenna cutout?

One deal-breaker issue I had with the Dualpro is that pocket lint sticks tightly to the black rubber. It drove me crazy, so I went back to the Feather.

The one thing that bothered me about the dual pro - its got a huge ugly square cut out on the back of it.

LG G2

Although the first post has a reply from Otterbox stating that the Commuter series case does not fit the Verizon LG G2, my wife and I ordered one anyway to see how it does not fit.

While the case doesn't perfectly fit the curved back of the phone, it fits pretty well, and my wife likes the case and chose to keep it. You can't really tell the fit unless you look at it closely. All sensors are uncovered - camera, mic, speaker, etc all fit. Even though this case was made for the ATT/Sprint/TMobile versions of the phone which have differently sized back keys, the Otterbox still touches the Verizon keys perfectly.

I ordered the Incipio DualPro to compare it to the Otterbox and see which I liked better.

So I purchased the Incipio DualPro for my Verizon LG G2 so my wife and I could compare the Otterbox Commuter. The DualPro definitely fits better as you can tell the silicone was specifically made for this phone. However, the Otterbox's outer shell is harder plastic, and also covers the top and bottom edges with hard plastic shell, which the DualPro does not. I would say the Otterbox is likely a more protective case because of the additional hard shell coverage.

However, I don't drop my phone much, and the Otterbox case definitely weighs more, so I will be keeping the DualPro.

Has anyone tried the black phone + Diztronic clear case? If so, how does it look?
