Welcome all new Charge owners..

I have been using the device for awhile and now with official release I wanted to get some users opinions of what feature they have found the coolest upon the first few hours of use?

Is it the cams?

How about the screen?

How about the Touchwiz UI with media hub?

Physical Buttons?

How about the amazingly fast LTE network (panda approved)

so share with the Panda as we celebrate a rare Saturday birthing in the DROID world..

I have really liked everything so far but the screen and the cameras are just amazing. Hdmi out performs very well and I really like how it actually mirrors.

I think the screen is fantastic.

Am hoping I might get to even watch Netflix on it some day, but the rumors seem to be conflicting about whether it will come to the Charge, or just certain CPUs with DRM capabilities like the Thunderbolt or Revolution. <Fingers Crossed>

I have to say the screen is unreal. I mean really. Best looking screen I have ever seen. Screw qHD. I want to have my fonts at a size I can read. I am 6'5 275lbs so I love the size. I don't feel like I am gonna break it. The cameras are very good. Both of them. But the best thing. The battery. SO much better than my Thunderbolt. And I will say this. The Charge won a browser test at the store. I tried 8 different sites, and the charge was the fastest on all of them.

The battery life on 4g has been great so far for me! Build quality seems good and the screen is a a step up from the S that I can notice. On the S series the screen was great but i could notice pixelation but not on the plus screen. I do wish the physical buttons could turn the screen on like the Droid X. I went with the Charge because I would rather have 4g over dual core.

Had the phone for a few hours now. Love the screen, battery seems ok but too early to say. I don't think it is as fast as the TB, but ok. Noticing a little lag switching from screen to screen but not bad enough to worry about.

that lag is due to touchwiz as soon as thats stripped out we will be good

Yeah, just throw Launcher Pro on top.

Touchwiz is still there, simply adding another launcher on top doesn't change that. You'll need a custom ROM, or the ability to edit the existing ROM in order to actually disable or remove TouchWiz. We'll likely see ROM's fairly soon though, considering its already rooted, and I would expect existing Galaxy S-compatible ROMs could be adapted without much difficulty.

Isn't part of the problem TouchWiz 3 sucks? What are the chances of it getting TW4 either legit or hack? Well post S2 launch.

In playing with it for 30 minutes, I was stunned with the screen. It blew me away. Then again, I loved the touch keyboard. I've never had much success with one until I used the Charge. I even played with a bunch of different stuff online to play with LTE. Mortal Kombat Rebirth looked nice on it. Loaded hella fast.

This is true, but if there is homescreen lag (which is what I think he means) Launcher Pro will smooth it out. (Or any launcher for that matter)

P.S. The browser is even faster if you use a 3rd party one like Dolphin or SkyFire. I couldn't believe how much faster.

I had a very noticeable improvement by throwing Launcher Pro on top of it. Enough of a difference that I know I wasn't imaginig it.

I actually always kinda liked the look of the device. its not your normal everyday black slab.. something a lil different in a world of cookie cutters..

What I like
- great screen. They put on a screen protector at the store, don't do it. When I removed it the screen protector it looked great, the protector really screws up the look of the screen IMO. I also read the display has gorilla glass which is very tough so a screen protector is not needed.

- better network connectivity than the TB, signal seems stronger than the TB or my old BB 9650
- no problems with 3rd party apps so far
- browser is great
- desktop cradle is great, it comes with a spare battery
- like bedside mode nice display at night
- no random reboots (so far)
- like the feel of the phone
- power button better than TB, don't need to press as hard as TB
- no more daily battery pulls from when I was using my BB HOOORAY
- so far I have not seen any lag
- good battery life so far
- no more 6 minute plus reboots like my old BB HOOORAY

I could go on, but enough for now. Barring any problems, its a keeper:D

Yep... +1 for it being a really nice looking phone. I expected it to be so much bulkier but it's an awesome form factor, and it's a nice weight.
