hows the GPS performance on this phone?
I don't know why folks call it big and bulky. Its barely bigger than my fascinate, very comfy in the hand.
I'm guessing you're a female and if you are and have smaller hands, i can surely understand where you're coming from. I have kinda big hands.Just went to look at the Charge this evening... and I'll say this, it was the biggest device in the store. Personally, I'm a big fan of the DInc2 and iPhone size (or somewhere in between) and this phone is certainly larger when compared next to the others. I was actually a bit surprised... it'd take me some getting used to. I'm especially interested in seeing how large it is once a case is installed.

You know what i miss about the X? Having a physical camera button..or being able to make the home key (the physical button) a shortcut key to launch whichever appMy overall impressions have been quite good since Thursday.
My favorite features:
-screen quality
-4g tethering speeds
-form factor with hardkeys
I still am adapting from my long term love affair with my Droid x. I have to say that while I liked the contemporary look of the X, this charge feels better in my hands for both typing and daily call use. I really miss is the home key wake option. It made so much sense to home key press, then slide and begin to work. With this charge, I have to re position my hands after pressing the side mounted wake button - with one hand operation.
One gripe I had about the phone was the keyboard. I installed a stock gingerbread keyboard from the market "keyboard from android 2.3" is the name from Steven Lin. Now it has a great keyboard, with the touch word gingerbread options and double tap space bar period. Fixed me right up.
Second gripe - system memory. I really didn't think that this would be a real issue, as my last phones have only had the stock 512, but there are a ton of little apps that are just killing the memory. I run an app for my business called repligo reader, a fully featured PDF annotation and reading program, and I get a daily message that the program cannot continue due to the system being out of memory.
I am hoping a new clean Rom may relieve this problem.

I am thinking about getting this phone, is anyone in a 3G area can test simultaneous data and voice, to see if it works? Or is the TBolt the only phone that can do both on 3G?
