Clear data on software update greyed out

Had to replace my old phone recently and now have an S22 running Android 13, I'm getting those annoying notifications for software updates and on my old phone I used the workaround of going to the app storage settings and clearing the data, but now that option is greyed out for the software update app. I can clear cache but it doesn't help. I also have automatic updates turned off under dev settings since they would always happen at the worst times otherwise lol, but is there a workaround to get rid of the notification? Thanks!

The best way to make this go away is to update your system software... that should make the notification disappear for about a month, at which point you will have to repeat the process.
