CM7 Nightly Builds

Ok - is there an older change log than is listed here... CyanogenMod nightlies changelog for Fascinatemtd. That only goes back to the 17th version. I'm wondering what has completely changed from the official first built 7.1.0 build. I'd like to move forward to one of the newer builds, but I'm wondering what all has been fixed/changed/broken since the official one that was released about a month ago. Thanks in advance.

I would go over to the Cyanogen Modwebsite, register and go talk it up in the forums. Maybe someone over there has more insight.

Also there has never been an "official" release yet. That is what the RC builds are and these have only been "nightlies".

Yeah - the lag is still there for me - unfortunately. Thanks for posting though. They are working to eliminate the lag that's there for everyone on the "ondemand" setting because they said so much work was put into it.

One thing to do is (if you'd like the louder in-call volume) is to run 8-30 release and run the governor on smartass. That alone reduces the lag that I was still having on the default glitch 8-30 settings.

And by the way - not really sure what's the difference in the 8-27 and the 8-30 are.

I have flashed the new glitch kernel V12 20110906_HL on top of CM7 #29 and it works great so far. No lagging! Anyone having success with newer versions of CM7?

I'm on 35 and it is extrememly fast with the glitchv12. So far all day has been great. My hubby is jealous as he is stuck for 20 mins reboot with his blackberry.

Sent from my blazin' nightly glitched up fassy

What radio are you running? I am running EC09.

Could someone tell me if they've fixed the proximity sensor in the nightlies yet? I'd like to flash one, but I'm not going to waste my time if they haven't. How's the most up-to-date nightly working for anyone on the glitch v12 kernel? Thanks in advance.

Does that mean the proximity sensor is fixed? And what build are you running? Did the later builds "break"anything that's known of? Thanks, guys.

I'm running what you asked about, latest nightly (35 as of this writing) and latest Glitch V12 . I have no problems to report, phone runs great. As far as the sensor thing I never really paid attention and not sure what the problem is.

It's when you go to hang up a phone call (or just pull your head away from the phone - like if you're trying to punch in your account number on a automated call or something) - you have to push the "wake-up button" or a volume rocker or something to get the screen to "wake" from the black abyss.

It is still there but IMO it is not a showstopper.

Nah - not a show stopper. Two large downers about it are the lack of the puzzle unlock - wish it could be added to Cyanogen and the proximity sensor issue. Both big issues, but with how smooth CM7 is on v12 of Glitch, it's worth it.

Ok had a blonde moment. I have gotten so used to doing that I don't realize it anymore! Think I'm going to try JT's V5 Kernel later and see how it does.
