CM7 Radios

I'm currently using the latest leak radio and I've recently switched from Gingeritis to CM7. Both seem to constantly be dropping 3g/4g anyone having similar issues. I figured it could have something to do with the radio.

Edit: I should say that the phone indicates that I'm on 4g but nothing loads.

CM7 works with the latest radio... I'm using the 2.11 radio (1.48.00.0817r, 0.01.78.0802w_3).

You say "nothing loads"... what are you doing??? What are you trying to download???

That's the radio I'm using. Facebook won't load Twitter, web pages and like I said the signal keeps dropping. I'll try reflashing the radio.

Make sure you check the MD5 Sum code of the Radio files before you install them!!!

Something appears to be up with this shenanigans, I got the radio's from xda flashed up phone still works but data is still messed up. I'm stuck in 1x which was happening before as well. What radio are you using?

I'm on 4g with 5 bars, steady grey color, can't make a connection.

I'm using the radio's I listed above... from the RootzWiki link in my signature, which goes to XDA: [RADIO] HTC Thunderbolt Radios [PG05IMG.zip] (Updated: 23 Aug 2011) - xda-developers... CDMA radio from the 2.11.605.0 RUU, and the LTE radio from the 2.10.605.1 RUU.

This is a common problem with aosp ROMs. I've tried all radios and the latest leak 2.11 is best for me, but still occasionally have issues. Its not the radio.

Ya that's what I'm running but I was having this issue with my Gingeritis ROM too. I just switched back to CM7 because it performs a lot better (2500 on quadrant versus 1500).

My only problem is data cuts out when tethering for a bit on CM7 with 2.11 radio. I downloaded mine from teamBAMF.net. some have said its better downloading from computer, then putting it on the phone, but I haven't had any issues downloading from phone and then using any file manager to move it to the root of the sdcard and flash
