yeah i wanted the aquos 007SH for awhile too since its waterproof, 16MP camera, android, and in a flip phone form for nostalgia. too bad america never gets any of the fun stuff.

I don't understand. You kept your EVO 3D but got an Epic Touch for the camera alone. If better quality pictures than those you take on the EVO 3D are that important to you, even for the 200 dollars you would pay for an upgrade you could get a much better quality digital camera than any in a cell phone.

That's just it, I want everything in one device. I already have a digital camera and don't carry it with me everywhere not to mention sometimes even when you intend to carry it somewhere, the battery is dead or the memory card is missing - when you do remember it. My phone is with me everywhere and is always ready to go. If the GS2 had better resolution, I would be in heaven but to be honest it is not as bad as I anticipated. I will be selling my 3D.

Lol thanks! I agree the second is way cooler. As for the first, I was actually going for the glowing effect of the light. I love taking pictures and lately I've been experimenting with different settings and tones. I think that I have found a new hobby so I am going to see about getting a nice P&S. I don't know if you saw them or not but I posted some other pictures I took using the EVO 3D that are imho really good.

Lol, probably not the best example, for sure. I was trying for a soft look that reflected the light and not a "true" representation. So, I know now that my attempt at art was not very successful!

I understand not wanting to carry two devices, which is why I use my phone way more than our digital camera. That is why I was a bit confused because the way you wrote your post, you actually were going to have two devices anyway. One good thing that has come out of this discussion is my discovery of my interest in photography. While I will always have my phone with me and take spur of the moment shots, I am beginning to do some research on a good P&S. I guess where we differ in opinion is that I believe I get some pretty good spontaneous shots on the EVO 3D (minus my poor attempt at art ) and you aren't achieving the results you want. I really do think the camera isn't so bad. Are there better ones? Yep! However, I enjoy the rest of the benefits of this phone so much I decided to make the best of what I've got.

I have so much fun coming here and talking to you guys, try to help when I can, and learn new things. I've met some great people here and you guys make MY day

My E3D camera seems fine for the limited amount that I use it. But here's something for the camera freaks to drool over!!

I wonder if maybe some of these third party apps would help some of the people who don't want to mess with the settings. I haven't tried any third party apps although I do now use a modded version of the stock camera app. I wonder if you installed a third party one if you could toggle between it and stock if you wanted to take 3D pics.

Paper camera. Camera pro, HDR camera free version has ads but it does a great job without having to change settings you're self. Several others but I like these so far and cannot remember the names of others right now.

I noticed that after I take a picture and I goes to the gallery and you reopen it the picture seems not as bright as when you took it. I don't know why its doing that.
