From reading the reviews of about the cookbook it sounds like a great starting point to learn developing android applicaiotns.

It would be great to get one of the free copies

What a great site! I was able to update my G2 manually to get the much needed WiFi calling feature by following the directions from the home page. Thanks Android Central! I'm so glad someone will win a copy of the Android Developers Cookbook just to have an unbiased user review. I've been struggling to get a handle on the development process and would love to win a copy. There are so many guides that aren't very well written and are very confusing to neophytes. Hopefully this will be the one to cut through the fog. Thanks again Android Central for providing a great resource for us Android lovers.

Hey, I am interesting in getting this book. I have just started playing with the SDK and am interesting in getting more serious in app development.

OOOoooOOO... pick me!

I'd love to get my hands on this- I've just started using the tools, trying out editing / theming, etc.

Pick me!

I can haz?

Are the selections actually random? I've had an idea for an app for a while, if I win this book, I'll take it as a sign that I should follow through

Let's see if I get lucky.

Now the question is: will you use mt_rand() or rand() to choose?
No, really, I know a bit of Java and PHO and I am looking at the tutorials, having a serious book would be a boon to my work.

I would love to get this book. i've been itching to really see what is possible. I program in salesforce.com and would be very curious to see how to build a decent android app for getting data in and out. Glad to hear the book is out, i'll have to buy it for sure even if I dont win.

good luck to all!
