So I'm a competitive fighter and the way things work is you chill around the ring you're about to fight in until they call you and you gotta rush over to you're ring.

One time I was called and I threw my phone to where my gym bag is and I missed my gym bag and the phone hit the tile which cracked the casing and screen! (Imagine if that phone was my Evo!!)

If I had a nice case my phone would be nice and intact!

I could definitely use a case and especially my wife loves her white evo but she has small hands and Iam really afraid she will drop it. She is not really into the whole pouch thing so o think this would be a perfect fit. I need one cause I work in a shop and don't want to work with it in my pocket since I work around steel and iron. I would really hate to bump it or have to put pressure on it and crack it. So I would rather lay it down on its back and not have to worry about it scratching up my bad ass 8 megapixel camera ,much less let it down on its screen. Oh hell no!

epic fail

I was at best buy looking for a case for my evo when some kid came up to me and asked me if i liked my evo i told him it was the hest phone i had ever had and offered to let him try it out. Unfortunately the klutz dropped it and shattered the damn screen. WHILE I WAS BUYING A CASE TO PREVENT THIS...FML

Well it all started 2 weeks ago, id'd had my evo for some time now and the fiancee and I hadn't had alone time in a while. My mother was visiting and on the day she left we sorta went crazy, running to the room and jumped on the bed, in the heat of the moment my evo slipped out of my pocket and landed somewhere on the bed, as i yanked the comfortor off the bed i see my evo flying in the air in slow motion across the bed and slamming side ways into my dresser i quickly jumped off the bed ran over and grabbed it only to fumble the phone and drop it again on the floor. I have a few nicks on my phone. nothing major but hey had i had a seidio i know my phone would not have a nick on the top and the side. regardless if I win or lose i will probably purchase one. maybe in innocase active ;-)

please pick me!!!

Kids are cruel

My 16 month old baby loves playing with our old phones that we have moved on from. She acts like she talks on them and also bangs them on the tile floor and glass doors...whichever seems louder at the time.

Well my Evo was sitting on the arm of the sofa, as it blends in so well with the black leather, and it caught the baby's eye. She got a hold of it and I heard it pounding away on the ceramic floor. My heart stopped when I heard the different sound of my Evo hitting the floor...over and over...and over.

After a quick snatch away from the baby and a long...drawn-out cry, the phone has hardly a scratch on it. This EXTREMELY close-call made me realize... I NEED SEIDIO CASE!

I live across the street from a cemetery in the woods, so when I come home late at night, sometimes there are coyote, and other beastly creatures waiting to unleash havoc on me. The other night, I could see a pack of 4 legged carnivora feasting on a hand protruding up from the ground near a gravestone. As I got out of my car, they turned their attention towards me. I made a mad dash for my front door, but they caught me and surrounded me. Armed with nothing but my Seidio-covered Evo 4G, I wielded my giant black slab and proceeded to defend myself with it. After I had defeated the predators, I looked down at my phone. Unscathed. The Seidio Innocase had taken a beating, and bears the scars... but it did it's job in protecting me, and more importantly my Evo 4G. After a proper burial, I find myself without a case... without protection, from these evil night stalkers.

My Evo 4G and I lived to fight another day... but without it's armor, we can only hide in the shadows at night.

What could of been the worst day ever

I was at work and i was wrapping and staging orders i was playing with my evo. My boss came up to me and said that he was going to lunch. I whip out my charger and plug it in by the wrapping machine. And placed a towel on the floor and my connected my evo and wrapped it up so it wouldn't get any dust or get scratched. Well 45 mins goes by and i had wrapped about 15 pallets. It's hot in the warehouse and i forgot my phone was wrapped in the towel i grab the towel to wipe my forehead and my phone goes flying through the air and lands on the backside hard... My heart stopped for a second... As that happened my co-worker didn't see what had happened and was driving by with the forklift. And drove over it but not on top of the phone.. I was like noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! And then relieved that my phone was in one piece. I quickly ran over there and picked it up.. I have a huge scratch below the htc label on the battery cover... Turned on the phone and everything works fine... Just need a new battery cover and protection ....

So I have a habit of charging my phone on my bartop counter since it is one of the surfaces my dogs (shih-tzus) still cannot reach, or so I thought. Yesterday, while I was getting ready for bed, I hear the dogs barking and barking and hear occasional, thumping and scratching. Apparently, one of the dogs had gotten a hold of the charging cable and pulled down the phone. Luckily the cable was only 1.5' long, but when I get to the counter, I see the dogs, jumping up and biting at the phone. It looked like an Evo pinata! Not two seconds later after catching them in the act, I see the phone fall off of the cable. I have a screen protector on the phone, but a case would have definitely protected the rest of it. I don't want it to end up like my previous phone and become another doggy chew toy!

My EVO is already damaged

After having my EVO for only a few weeks, I dropped it. Thankfully it only fell a few feet since I was sitting down but it landed on one of the outside corners, leaving a mark and showing the "red" underneath...it's like my EVO now has a nasty scab and you can see the red underneath. I need a case!

While having dinner with friends at a restaurant, they gave their baby/kid my phone to play with. No big deal to me, but as it turned out, the kid was teething! No real teeth yet though...so no harm but some drool. But if teeth would have come through, the case would have protected the phone!

damn after 15 pages i doubt anyone past page 8 will win.

nothing exciting but i have the remnance of a scratch on my 2 day old evo in the left bottom corner. i was inside the house walking to the front door and was trying to place my phone in my left side coat pocket when it slipped.

arrhhh it was like slow motion i could see the evo falling and it was too late for me to try and grab it and the only thing i could do was kick it with my shoes. well i tapped it with a side shoe kick and it hit the wall just above my nice soft leather sofa. damn it!!! i was trying to kick it softly to the sofa but unfortunately like in the world cup it landed too high.

no crack in the glass just a scratch mark on the plastic near the glass. am i worthy of a case? not really im sure there are other much more exciting stories. if i win i would like to donate it to someone else passing the kindness around a second time.

Like the Matrix, only with a FAIL

Well, I was at a party the Friday after I go my EVO. I was, of course, showing it off to some people that were considering the switch from the iPhone. As I went to camera mode (after a few beers) and tilted the phone, I lost gasp of my beloved EVO!!

In a terrifying slow motion effort, I tried to catch the EVO mid fall but I bumped it to spin faster. I stuck out my knee to hopefully break its fall, but only succeeded in kicking the phone further away from me. Then it hit the concrete.

The group around me all stopped talking for second with varied looks of "OMG" and "sucks to be you" on their faces. Then they continued their drinking.

I scooped up my poor EVO and gave her a look over. Miraculously, nothing was broke, but some small scratches were on the back cover. How the camera lens didn't scratch I have no idea.

Yeah, a rugged case would be AWESOME considering how much I like to "demonstrate" my EVO's cool features at parties.

As luck would have it I let my 9yr old son use my Evo to watch videos while we were eating lunch. No sooner than I had said "be careful with it", he drops it on the floor. Needless to say video time was over, but my incidents with the phone were not. A short while later while trying to get directions to our next location I managed to knock the Evo out of my own hand dropping it on the sidewalk, no big deal I figured as I have a hard case on it but another manufacturer, however the case exploded off as it made imapact the first time. It then proceeded to cartwheel down the sidewalk case-less dinging up the corners. So you could say I'm less than thrilled with this competitor of yours now, and could definitely use a much better engineered product to protect my baby from any further harm.

I occasionally work doing on site computer repairs. I have my phone constantly out to check emails from other employees. I am one of the head people here, so I am constantly going back and forth with them. Most times I set my phone next to me on a desk while I am working on the persons or businesses computer, and more often then not does someone come in, start talking about the problems and either A. set something on my phone, or B. knock it off the table/desk while talking.

Nothing major has happened to my phone yet, but I can foresee in the near future it will.

No close call yet, but....

I know that someday, probably in the very near future, something very bad will happen to my EVO. A splash of pasta sauce while cooking with Epicurious, a fall from the desk while video chatting with Qik (or Fring), an accidental drop while my 6 year old plays Super K.O. Boxing 2, or maybe even a stray drumstick hit while I'm using my EVO to play backing tracks for my band. One way or another, something will happen and I'm going to need some protection!

Within ten minutes of activating my shiny new evo I casually tossed it onto my bed, only realizing what I just did after I did it. The phone of course bounced, hitting the nightstand and falling to the floor. Thankfully all was well, but a case would have helped!

On the 4th of July I was out with friends doing a bar crawl in Pacific Beach, CA. After spending the entire day drinking I was needless to say a bit clumsy! We were sitting on a ledge overlooking the beach and my phone came out of my pocket. The bar was on the 2nd story of the building. Where else would it fall but out the window!!!

Lucky for me there was a line of bushes around the building and the EVO safely landed without breaking. The cheap ebay case I had popped off on impact which resulted in a few light scratches but nothing more. Wanna talk about a heart attack!

I was out on a safari in the African Serengeti a couple weeks ago, proudly sporting my Evo despite a lack of cellular coverage. We were watching a pride of lions feast on a gazelle they had recently downed. I was snapping pictures with the 8MP camera on the Evo, when I noticed a small piece of dust under the screen. This discovery caused me to temporarily become disoriented, and I let out a short scream of anger. My scream alerted the alpha male lion in the pride, and he promptly turned to see the source of the disturbance. Upon turning towards me, the lion became immediately enraged; I can only assume the source of his displeasure was the feeling of inadequacy he must have felt after seeing the enormous 4.3" screen of my Evo (a feeling I'm certain is shared by several million users of a certain other smartphone that will remain iNameless). Deciding to act on his anger, the lion charged ferociously in my direction. I prepared myself for the inevitable confrontation by searching for a weapon with which to defend myself. The only thing within reach was my Evo, that was conveniently already in my hand. Not wanting to damage the Evo, I gently tossed it aside and prepared for the worst. After a lengthy bout of hand-to-paw combat, I emerged victorious, and the lion limped away with his life, to fight another day. Upon retrieving my Evo from the grass, I was horrified to notice that it had landed on a sticker burr and the back of the battery door had a small nick on it. Had I had a Seidio Innocase Rugged, not only would I have been able to avoid the scratch, but I wouldn't have hesitated to use the Evo as a club to defend myself in my moment of peril.

Shopping Cart horror

So I went to Target the other day and had my phone sitting in the little child seat of the cart. I lifted a file cabinet to put into the cart without thinking and set it in there crooked, which pushed the child seat in, causing my phone to slide down and get pinned. Unfortunately, the metal bars of the child seat cracked the case of my phone and gave me a yellowish spot on my screen. I really could have used a case.
