Corrupt 64GB Micro SD

So, I got a new 64 GB Class 10 Micro SD for my Galaxy S III. I transfered all of my music over to it. When I play some songs, it will either say "Cannot play this file type" (even though it is mp3), or the song will play very quickly. I have read that 64 GB Micro SDs often cause music files to become corrupt. Is there any way to fix this? I have also read that 32GB Micro SDs are more compatible, so will I have to buy a 32GB one?

Welcome to Android Central! It really shouldn't matter, but what does matter is who makes the card and where you got it. If it's a no-name card, or if you got it from some random seller on eBay, it's much more likely to be counterfeit or just poor quality. Run SD Insight to see if it's what it says it is.

I fixed it!
I just had to format my SD card into FAT32 since it can read and write a lot faster.

Good deal! FAT32 is usually the best filesystem to use for SD cards. But keep a close eye on your data, in case this is foreshadowing future corruption issues. Make sure you keep things backed up on a regular basis.
