Yeah will I be able to flash THAT one?!? I can't flash any non sense roms. beezy had an idea why in another thread but I don't think vaelpak 1.3 or 2.0 comes standard with an OC'd kernel.

Yep. I started a thread about it about a week ago. I've tried both recoveries, wiping multiple times, every possible combination of flashing (ROM only, ROM and kernel w/o reboot, ROM and kernel with a reboot in between) and I can't figure out why I can't flash a non sense ROM. I can flash AC ROM, Baked Snack, and Fresh (I've done all of them in the past 2 days. But CM6, vaelpak (version 1.3, 2.0, and 2.1, with and without kernels), and superevo don't work for me. I get boot loops no matter what I do.
Thats just upsetting... Any OG's Want to Chime in here...
You might want to do the oldest RUU you can find... return completely to stock and reroot... that might nip your problem in the butt... its a long process i know but its worth a shot

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's a PITA. Idk if I wanna run those ROM's enough to do that lol.

I think he's saying you can just flash a ruu of 2.1 so you don't have to do the 2.2 way. If you flash back to a ruu 2.1, you should just be able to use the old simple root method.

I am up and running on this ROM! One question, how do I restore my SMS messages? I did a nandroid backup prior to wiping and flashing.
SMS are on the old ROM you backed up. As far as I know there is no way to transfer them to the new ROM.
Is there a way to manually focus the camera like in the stock camera app where you double tap where you want the camera to focus? I have been having problems getting the camera to focus on close objects.

So I finally went ahead and flashed this ROM. I want to add the 7.6 Turbo Kernel but I'm a little confused as to how. It doesn't seem as straight forward as the other kernels I've simply flashed on Sense ROMs.
I posted this a couple hours ago on the xda thread for the kernel but haven't gotten any bites. I feel a little intimidated in that thread. Everyone seems like a superuser. Perhaps someone in here can give me some guidance.
